Assault on the Eastern Empire

Today, I made a promise to Yuki—a promise to save her friends still trapped in the Eastern Empire. Without hesitation, I set out with Yuki, Leon, Ares, Rose, and Cleve. Alice insisted on coming too, even after I refused her several times. In the end, I gave in to her pleading. Well, that’s just how she is.

Using space-time magic, I opened a portal to the Eastern Empire. We stepped through the swirling light and, in the next moment, found ourselves standing right before the massive main gate of Alkadia Kingdom.

“Braaakk!!”

My scythe slammed into the iron gate, shattering it in a single swing.

Soldiers rushed out from the fortress, but their strength was no match for us. In mere moments, we subdued them all—without taking a single life.

King Gabriel, upon receiving the report of our sudden assault, immediately ordered Shin to take action.

It didn’t take long for the Starator troops—armed children from Earth—to be deployed.

As the unit arrived, shock was clear on their faces when they saw Yuki standing with us.

“Yuki!? You’re… still alive?” cried Yui, one of them, her trembling hand covering her mouth. Tears streamed down her cheeks.

Kanon, standing beside her, smiled with deep emotion. “Thank goodness… Yuki, you're really alive...”

Yuki returned their smiles gently. “I’m sorry I made you worry…”

But the warm moment quickly shattered.

“Yuki!” Charlotte, the commander of the Starator, glared at her sharply. “I’m glad you’re alive, but… why are you with the enemy? Did you betray us?!”

Yuki met Charlotte’s gaze, firm and unwavering. “Because what you're doing is wrong. I don’t want to hurt anyone anymore. I refuse to be a conqueror who steals kingdoms for power.”

Charlotte frowned, anger boiling over. “Traitor!”

Yuki ignored her and stepped forward. “Yui-chan, Kanon-chan… you’re being used. You shouldn't be weapons. Please… come with me.”

Yui and Kanon exchanged glances. The uncertainty in their eyes was unmistakable.

Charlotte shouted, “What are you doing?! I order you to kill Yuki! Now!”

But Yui and Kanon stood frozen. They knew if they disobeyed, Shin could activate the control systems embedded in their bodies.

Seeing their hesitation, I stepped forward. “Yui-chan, Kanon-chan… don’t be afraid. I was once a human from Japan too. I know you want to be free. You won’t die… I promise.”

Tears fell from their eyes. With a slow nod, they chose to come with me.

“You little…!” Charlotte screamed, activating her communicator. “Shin, do something!”

“As you command, Hime-sama.”

Suddenly, Yui and Kanon screamed, their bodies trembling. The control system had been activated.

“Just as I thought…” I muttered. I moved swiftly. “Sleep for now. Leave the rest to me!”

Using special magic, I summoned crimson chains from the earth to bind their bodies.

“Ai-chan! Let’s destroy the control components in their stigma!”

“Hehehe~ Roger that~!” Ai-chan giggled inside my mind, and we got to work.
