Strange Signs

The next morning, when I woke up, a massive headache hit me.

Not the normal kind—more like the “I just did a 12-hour raid boss with no sleep and no healing potions” kind of headache.

To make things worse, my body felt heavy… and my stomach was a bit queasy.

“Ugh… maybe it’s stress. Probably because I haven’t touched my PC for two days,” I muttered while washing my face.

But Lora saw my expression and immediately panicked.

“Avrora-sama! You’re so pale! What did you eat last night? Don’t tell me it was golem stones!”

“No. What are you even talking about?”

Lora smacked her forehead. “Ugh, you need to go to the royal clinic. This is serious.”

I tried to refuse. “I just need games. Games cure everything.”

“No, Avrora. You need a doctor.”

And just like that, Lora dragged me to Asgard’s royal clinic.

The royal doctor was an old man with thin glasses and an expression way too serious for his job.

He checked my heartbeat, my temperature, then performed a magic examination.

Green runes spun in the air, scanning my body.

Suddenly, the doctor’s face changed—like someone who just witnessed a dragon performing ballet.

“P–Princess Avrora… I… I must report this directly to His Majesty the King.”

I frowned. “Why? Did I get dragon flu?”

The doctor swallowed hard. “No… You are with child.”

Silence.

Absolute silence.

So silent I could hear my brain screaming WHATTTTTTT!!?

I froze. “Doc, I’m a God, not an emulator! How can I be pregnant?”

“Your pregnancy is stable. And… the baby’s power is immense. A combination of vampiric and divine energy.”

Lora fainted on the spot.

I wanted to faint too, but unfortunately my body stayed awake just to torture my soul.

Unwanted Flashback

While the medical staff tried to wake Lora up, I sat there holding my head.

And then… a memory surfaced.

A memory from when I was with Leon.

And… yeah… there *was* one night where we got a little too close. More than we should have.

I covered my face. “Oh my god… so this is my fault too…”

Lora looked at me as if I had just announced that I adopted a wild dragon.

The News Reaches the King

It didn’t take long before I was summoned to the throne room.

The room was vast, cold, and filled with golden light—way too blinding for someone already stressed out.

My father, King Zhepyres, sat on his white marble throne. His sharp eyes watched me like he could read my entire life just from staring.

“Avrora,” he spoke, voice deep and heavy, “The doctor said you are… with child.”
