It's around two weeks into December, which means that winter had arrived and Christmas was coming up next. December bringing winter also meant that it was getting significantly colder out, snow was falling and warm clothing was basically a must. Last night, South Korea experienced a long and heavy snowfall, leaving a thick layer of snow covering the ground. This snowstorm didn't leave just the snow but the air had also gotten colder than the previous day which meant the desire to stay warm had gotten stronger for most Korean citizens. They'd dress up in jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, boots, whatever clothing that'd keep the cold from getting them sick. Even one missing piece of clothing has a chance of resulting in a bad outcome.

This morning, each Stray Kids member was woken up to a call from their manager explaining that there was a sudden change in their schedules that day because of something unexpected. One of their interviews was cancelled because of the snow and in its spot was an extra dance practice session. The interview that got cancelled was scheduled for 9:00am and now since it was replaced, the extra dance practice was moved to 8:00am. And when the 8:00am start time was revealed, the eight members started rushing to get ready. Especially Chan, who was working on some small things in his room and had to pack everything up on top of getting ready. The leader was so invested in making sure Jeongin was ready and texting the other members, making sure they were ready that he left his own jacket in his shared dorm.

"Hyung, we can go back and I can wait while you grab your jacket" Jeongin proposed as they walked down the building's stairs.

The elevator would just take too long and the duo was already running late.

"I'll be fine, Jeongin" Chan replied and shrugged off the maknae's offer, "It's just one day and one day without a jacket shouldn't kill me."

"But that still doesn't mean it won't kill you" Jeongin commented.

"I know that, it's warm enough outside that I don't need a jacket right now. I'll be fine."

"Hyung, it's snowing! There was a huge snowstorm last night and there's still snow falling right now. No way in hell does that mean that you don't need a jacket!" the maknae declared with slight annoyance in his tone.

Chan rolled his eyes, "For the last time, Jeongin, I'm fine without a jacket for one day. Now, the van's waiting for us outside and we're already late."

"Fine."

Jeongin followed Chan outside and into the car, which caused the other six members to look at the duo but with eyes more focused on Chan and it was pretty obvious why. The leader was just dressed in pants and a sweater and despite him brushing off Hyunjin's question as to why he wasn't wearing a jacket, Stray Kids could still tell he was cold. During the ride to the company, Chan sat in the front with the driver specifically to avoid the looks coming from his members. He didn't want to admit it now, after the mini disagreement with Jeongin earlier, but he was regretting forgetting his jacket a bit. It was colder than the leader thought he was able to handle and goosebumps ran all the way up and down his body. His sweater wasn't gonna be enough to keep him warm for the day, he knew now. It was just a matter of keeping this from his members.

Because of the snowstorm Korea experienced, the heat in JYP entertainment wasn't working well and all rooms were cold. Stray Kids' schedule was cut short today and Chan couldn't be more grateful for it. It was a struggle during dance practice to keep warm which was funny, considering it should've been good at replacing his jacket to keep him warm. He headed to the café in the building during a 10 minute break and bought two coffees, replacing the water in his bottle with the hot drinks. It helped, to a certain degree, in keeping him kinda warm but it still helped. Later that day at the interviews that weren't cancelled, Chan was finding each room they filmed in rather cold. Felix went up to his fellow Aussie brother while getting ready for the second interview of the day, offering for him to wear his extra sweater he packed. But again, Chan brushed him off. Even though it was the first day, Stray Kids had a feeling that Chan's stubbornness would lead to something worse.
