Sigh. Another late ass night for zerobaseone.

The group of nine had just finished yet another late schedule, only heading back to their respective dorms late at night for the millionth time in a row–2:00am to be more exact. Despite having said this was a recurring problem, this "pattern" never lasted for more than a couple days in a row. On and off their late nights went for days, weeks, months and some healthy ending times to break it up but never enough to call it sufficient for the amount they needed for a proper break. However, all that 'extra' time zerobaseone took up at the company came at a price, and that being the health and safety of the members.

Of course schedules and patterns like this almost always never end well whether that be malnutrition or dehydration, being overworked, dizziness and/or fainting. For the case of zerobaseone's youngest, Han Yujin, schedules like these were the main cause of his sleep paralysis. These episodes started off simple, not super horrible but scary enough for Yujin to be a little anxious when going to bed after a long day. But the severity of said episodes would increase alongside their schedules the more unpredictable and erratic they got. They became more realistic, more frightening, took up more time to the point that when he did have to go to bed, his anxiety was off the damn charts.

Yujin walked into his room and dropped his bag down on the floor with a heavy thud, walked right back out and to the bathroom. He had wanted to get himself ready for bed to relax, to just ease the anxiety he was feeling and hopefully (fingers crossed), successfully pull an all-nighter. Well...

Bad idea

After being in bed for only 10 minutes on his phone, Yujin felt the exhaustion starting to hit him and it was not gonna back down. No matter how many times he'd force his eyes to stay open (of which he soon lost count) or get up to move around for a bit until he felt better then laying back down, it'd come rushing back merely seconds later. The idol was getting pissed that it was taking this much just to keep his consciousness. However, in the middle of choosing something else to try and stay awake, Yujin missed that feeling consume him and let his eyes flutter close. He was asleep and unfortunately for him, couldn't wake up in time before...

Yujin's eyes shot open when he realized he let himself fall asleep. It was still dark out; no light broke through the curtains and flooded the room so it was safe to say he hadn't been asleep for long. And the silence flowing through the dorm indicating the members were still sleeping also spoke that little time had passed–a couple minutes at most. Only Yujin was awake and thankfully, that time his eyes were closed was the extra boost of energy he needed to complete his goal. The idol laid there for a bit in the silence and let the sounds of soft breathing fill his ears– wait... sounds?! Yujin thought he was the only one awake and yet, he still heard someone breathing even after he stopped to listen.

Okay, so maybe he wasn't the only one awake. And just maybe, Yujin scanning his room and glancing over to a dark figure looming in a corner told him he definitely wasn't alone either.

"Hello?"

Pin-drop silence, well, apart from the breathing that didn't stop.

"If you're one of my hyungs, you don't have to stand there like some creep. I'm fully awake now."

Yujin waited for another response. Eventually after having gotten a little fed up by how long it was taking for a singular response, Yujin went to turn on the light to see who it was. He first tried moving his legs first but those were tangled up in his blanket so instead, he went to move his arms and just untangle the blanket himself yet those didn't move either. His arms were free from any type of cover, resting comfortably either across his stomach or on the bed so it shouldn't have been this difficult to move them. Starting to catch on to what was happening, Yujin tried moving any limb for a third time as a test but still nothing.
