"So like officially or like figuratively? I need to figure out how to even reply to this situation  all together." I said as I sat up to pay attention to what Mar just said to me.                                                    "Literally. Like went to the courthouse, signed official documents, and have the rings to prove the whole thing. Like it's really real."                                                                                                                            "You think he's off his meds again?" I asked Martin as I looked over and checked on AJ.                   "That's what Money said too, but you know they're headed on tour and shit so we're the only ones here right now. I'm not trying to set him off or nothing but we definitely need to check his temperature. Not saying he made a complete wrong decision, but this was too quick." Man I feel like I don't even understand Jay half the time. I mean on one hand, Suki is probably the absolute best person for him and he could see the forever in her, but on the other, they don't even know each other well enough to be promising forever. Hell I'm engaged myself and look at me and Toya. Shit is crazy.                                                                                                                                                                  "Yeah the timing is what's wild to me. But we'll see what's up with him." I said as I went ahead and started getting myself together to check on this dude. Normally I let my best friend live, because Justin will always be Justin but this was a little different coming from him. As soon as I started to go into my bathroom I heard my door creep open. I looked and to my surprise it was Toya. I really didn't know how to feel or nothing but it was like time stood still for a minute.          "Hey...I was just coming to see AJ." she said softly.                                                                                                "Feel free." I said as I went ahead and went to take my shower. Honestly, I wasn't ready to even see her or deal with that shit yet. And it's the audacity to just show up without saying anything ahead of time which is crazy work. Now granted, I would never have had a girl in here, but what if I did? I mean she's doing her, so it's my right to do the same. I went ahead and started to run my water and disrobe. When I opened the door to check the water temperature, she walked into the bathroom. "Can I help you?" I asked her as she locked eyes with me.                                                  "Can we talk?" she asked me.                                                                                                                                            "When I'm done." I went in the shower and closed the door. I promise I was beyond irritated way too early this morning. I feel like she playing games and I'm really not for it. I went ahead and dunked my head under the water and let the water cascade down my body for real. Maybe this would relax me, I needed that more than my next breath. I feel like she's turning me into the stereotypical babydad that hates their babymom but I feel like this ain't hate...it's indifference for sure. I washed my hair and then washed my body. I stayed there for a few to clear my head just to calm myself before this awkward ass exchange. I turned the water off and prepared for this before I stepped out of the shower. She was sitting there on the toilet looking at me. "What's up Toy?" I said as I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my waist and headed to the sink to brush my teeth. She stood up and walked over to the sink too and just looked at me while I put the toothpaste on my toothbrush. "You just gone stare at me?" I asked just before I started to brush my teeth.                                                                                                                                                                    "So you're still mad...I get that." I laughed a little. "What's funny?" she asked me. I finished brushing my teeth and rinsing.                                                                                                                                       "You, I never said I was angry. Disappointed, hell yeah, but not mad. But I know you ain't over here to talk about my feelings because those never came into play. So why you here?"                "He's my son too Anthony. Jesus...so we can't be civil right now?"                                                              "I am being civil. You act like this shit is normal or I'm just not supposed to feel any type of way. Be for real, if it were me...you know what? It don't even matter. So what's up you want to get him for the day?" I asked her. She looked like she had so much she wanted to say.                                         "Yes." she said simply. I walked into the bedroom and placed a few more items into the baby bag for her to make sure she has everything she needed for him.                                                                   "Here you are." I said as I handed it to her and went ahead and started to get dressed.                       "So...we're just co-parents now?" she asked me and I started to laugh again.                                            "Don't get to questioning me about what we are or where we stand. This right here, right now, is all you. You're not about to play the victim in yet another scenario that you created. We're here based upon your wants, desires, and whatnot. I mean you look just fine to me, so you must be living your best life. Clearly what you wanted was to be coparents, so that's what you got. It's your world Toy, I'm just a supporting character. So here's my way of supporting. I'm not no pick me ass nigga, so I let you do you." I said as I pulled my shirt over my head.                                                "I'm not here to babysit your ego Tony, like you're seriously acting like a child." I started laughing because I already see clearly exactly what it was that she was trying to do. "What's funny?"              "You La'Toya, you. But next time try to be a little more discreet." I told her as I put on my jewelry and grabbed my phone and my wallet.                                                                                                                        "Discreet?" she questioned.                                                                                                                                               "Yes, like have discretion. You still have sand in your hair sweets." I said as I started walking out of the room and she reached up and touched her hair. So...that was all the confirmation that I really needed. Maybe Dom was right, maybe this is my turn to do as I please too.
