"It was nice to meet you Suki. Make sure you hit me up." Erica said to her as we all started to go our separate ways. She slid in the car as I put my gym bag in backseat and then got in the front.
"So I see you're a bomb ass hooper. Now wonder they're so geeked to have you." she said to me.
"Thank you. It didn't hurt to have some sexy support on the sideline." I said as she smiled at me.
"Thanks hun." she said to me.
"You're welcome. You have a good time with the girls?" I asked her.
"Yes they were all cool as hell. Even got some coming through for appointments tomorrow, so it was great!" she said to me. That's a win-win then for sure.
"Okay then hustla, I see you." I said as we both laughed. "I'm glad yall all clicked though. I know how females can be." I said to her.
"I'm the type of person though either you love me or you hate me. Ain't no in-between. So...it would've been cool either way. It is what it is. But everybody is grown, so you know."
"Not everybody, but close enough."
"Who ain't grown?" she asked me stunned.
"Dom is only 17." I said to her.
"Damn...I thought she was a little older than some of them. Not that she looks older or anything." she said to me. Let me kill this conversation before it takes a turn.                       "Anyways, so what's your plans for the rest of the day?" I asked her.
"You got some plans for me?" she asked me smiling big.
"I could always make some for your fine ass." I said to her and she laughed a little. "What?" I asked her.
"Let me ask you a question right quick." she said and I looked at her. "So what exactly are you looking to get out of this?" she asked me.
"Nothing in particular. I go with vibes, not intentions. I mean what about you?" I asked her as I pulled to a red light.
"Same. I liked your energy yesterday and that's why I kicked it with you. I'm a little older than you and that's fine but I don't want this to drag out for no reason. On some real woman shit, I have a 4 year old son, so I don't play around with different niggas or bring randoms around him. So if you're looking to just mess around, that's cool. But say that. If you wanna be my friend, great. But say that. But if you think you want me for real, cool. But be ready for that." she said and truth be told, I respected her way more for that.
"Right now, I can say you're definitely eye candy and brain food. So at the moment, I'm looking for a friend. But maybe it'll grow into more. Only time can tell that. But I'd never disrespect you as to look at you as only a sexual being. You're intelligent, fun, spontaneous, and from everything from yesterday and today I can tell you adore your son. I like all of that in you. Your appearance is just extra. Sex? I can get that from anywhere, I wouldn't ever push that on you. If it happens, it happens." I told her.                                                                                                                       "Thank you." she said sweetly.
"You're welcome." I said as I continued driving to her spot.
"So I have another question. How long yall all been tight?" she asked me.
"Most of us, for years. But Riek and Kevin are new to the circle for real. Everyone else been about a year to 3 years." I told her.
"That's what's up. Yall seem like family."
"We are to a degree." I told her.
"So yall some drug dealers?" she said and I looked at her out my peripheral. "Chill Jay, I'm not the cops." she said laughing. "Yall just seem to be really well off for some soon to be graduates."
"My moms is a surgeon. Tony has a veteran and a nurse for parents. Toya has a top tier lawyer for a dad. Iris and Charles come from money too. Martin and D's dad was a stock broker. The rest of them are recording artists." I said.
"Okay, but you didn't answer my question. That was all the answer I needed though." she said laughing.
"It's cool, I move weight too. No judgment." she said. "I can see it in yall presence. Yall have the perfect lives to cover it, just like me. The only child of an owner of an Insurance Company. I come from it, but I didn't want daddy's money, I wanted my own." she said. "I just was smart enough to keep a paper trail. As I see your boy must do with the studio." she was a good one.
"How did you even re..."
"I've always been able to read people. My mother does readings and showed me the way early on. So...yeah trust me I can tell a lot." Well damn...that wasn't what I expected at all.
"So...why you just now saying something?" I asked her.
"Needed to see how thorough yall are with it. I mean yall have good fronts for sure and yall are discreet. Which is surprising for high school, well young adults since yall graduate next week."
"Thank you, I think." she laughed a little bit as everything sank in on me.
"So what you push?" I asked her.
"X and addys." she said calmly. She was smart as hell since she goes to college that was the perfect place to be able to move it. Maybe this is why Widow like dealing with us because he knew we were all going to college and that opens up more avenues. Then again...maybe shorty is connected. But how could he have possibly known where I'd be. He'd know she was my type though. I really couldn't wrap my head around this one right now because it seemed hella fishy. But I'll play it cool and not give up any info, as far as I know she's the cops. I'd have to have C-Money look into her, if anybody could find out info, it was him. But she's smoking dick if she thinks I'm giving up any info at all to her. That's dead!
