I had took this body oil and warmed up in my hands really good before I began to massage Iris' back. It had been a minute since I had really tended to her the way I should, but I was trying to make up for it. One thing I knew for sure, she adored a good ass massage. She softly moaned as I ran my hands up and down her back. She was thoroughly enjoying this, but I couldn't help but admire the view. Not gonna lie, no matter how long me and her have been together, she still excites me. I think I have an old soul, because another female has not ever crossed my mind like that. Even when she was driving me up a wall, I still couldn't see nobody else. I think maybe I was just raised differently. Things instilled in me even before I had came over to the states. I had went from her back, down to her thighs and then her legs and feet.
"This is what you should get certified in. Oh my God!" she said and I laughed at that.
"Naw, you know good and well you'd trip if I ever touched another woman like this." I told her and she laughed too.
"We just gone overcharge these bitches." she said.
"Oh, so you okay with sharing as long as she paying?" I said with a slight laugh. She sat right up.
"We are NOT Aries & them. Don't play with me Chuckie." I laughed at her crazy ass.
"What I need multiples for? You're already 10 people wrapped in one body." I said as she hit me in the shoulder while I laughed. "Okay, okay 20 people." Then she laughed too.
"I'm not that bad." she said.
"Dear God, when you strike Iris, can you spare me?" I said with my head bowed and she pushed me. We both laughed as she got up from the bed and slid her shorts on and a tank.
"Thank you baby." she said as she leaned in to me and kissed me. I hadn't seen her this happy in a while. I loved it.
"Any time Gorgeous!" I said as she went to the mirror to put her hair up. "Speaking of Gorgeous, you ever think of hitting that guy up about modeling?" I asked her.
"I thought about it for a second, but I don't know."
What's stopping you?" I asked.
"Timing. It's like we're developing artists still, I don't want to just leave them hanging."
"Mami, that could never be. I got them, if you wanna do that. Don't ever hold yourself back on account of anyone else, you hear me?" I said to her.
"Te escucho." she said to me.
"Don't sound so happy." I said.
"It's not that, it's just new. I don't know the first thing about modeling." she said to me.
"I didn't know the first thing about running a label, but look at me. You didn't know how to manage artists, but look at you. We can do whatever we put our minds to. So don't sell yourself short." I told her. She looked at me through the mirror and came and sat down next to me on the bed and looked in my eyes. "What?" I asked her.
"You gassing me?" she asked.
"Never. I'm here to uplift, but never gas. Gassing you would involve lying and that I won't do. But allow you to see your full potential, I'm all over that."
"Papi you know I don't do all this mushy shit, right?" she said as we both laughed. I had to pretend to not see the little tears that had developed in her eyes though.
"I know you a gangsta babe. But you have a heart and feelings too." She gave me a half smile.
"Feelings?" she said absurdly.
"Yup, you decided to let them move in. Feelings. Wasn't anyone throwing Toya's Baby Shower, you did. Feelings. The whole D and Jay thing. Feelings. And whether you care to admit it or not, you just had tears in your eyes while I was talking to you. Feelings. You're allowed to have feelings. Getting in them and staying in them would be a problem. You're human, you don't have to be hard 24/7."
"Yeah, but showing them doesn't get me anywhere."
"Because you think someone is going to use them against you. Iris, I'm in love with you, so why would I ever use that to my advantage? Everyone that we're around needs you, so how could they use it against you? Behind the killer that we know you are, lies a heart of gold. Iris, you're like an artichoke. You peel back all of those layers and the many hats that you wear and there lies a heart. You got more heart than perhaps any of the fellas for real. And that means everything." She stared in my eyes for a moment.
"How did I get so lucky?" She said to me.
"You didn't, I did." I told her.
"Okay, because recognize this right here is God-given." she said.
"Right, so understand when you're in the presence of a god." I shot back. She laughed.
"Smooth. You know if you weren't the label owner, you might've made out to be a smooth ass rapper." she said. I laughed at that.
"Naw...this all for you. No one else is lucky enough to get these words." I told her.
"I don't know, you always have a speech for somebody though." she said with a laugh.
"Yeah I be having speeches, because they relay a message. Sometimes just getting straight to the point just doesn't convey the whole context. Plus, it gives yall something to remember me by." She looked at me weird.
"What?" I asked her.
"Why you talking like that?"
"I don't mean it like that. But tomorrow isn't promised and I wanna leave my mark in every single day." she looked into my eyes and came and straddled me.
"Chuckie, I know that, but we're still young Love. I don't want you talking like that. I don't know what to do without you. I don't even wanna think like that."
"I get that. But I know you can survive without me. You're so strong, physically and mentally." She just looked at me for a few moment quietly. "It's okay."
