The news and the internet were going crazy since Harden purposely leaked footage and audio recordings from the mission. Footage of the fight, edited to cut out anything that didn't serve him. Audio secretly recorded through your earpieces, especially from inside the volcano.
He made sure to cut out anything that revealed you having the curse.
"They risked their lives for our safety, and we are forever grateful!" This was the only comment Harden made during a press conference. This was one of the biggest news stories since her last attack years ago. "They've been awarded an honorary medal for their service."

Koda and Sero were seen looking out of it as they got medals placed onto them.
"Please wish the rest of the team good health!" Harden waved goodbye; the reporters had so many more questions as everyone went inside a hospital.
It's been almost 2 weeks since the mission, and Sero and Koda haven't said much as they were preparing to head back to Japan. They were now recovered but had lasting scars.
