You are new to UA, having come from the States over the summer with your mom due to an incident at your last school. You start your days by becoming a hero to help find your dad. Over time, you begin to ask... are you really faking? Are you even str...
You didn't go to class the next week. UA just lumped you in with some of the students recovering from the avalanche attack. March was already off to a weird start.
You haven't been at the dorms either. Your classmates have been reaching out to you to make sure everything was okay. This time, you actually answered them so they wouldn't worry.
You've been at your house that week, actually. Only Bakugou and Mina knew, as they would visit you.
You've been working on rethinking the H•B business. It wasn't something that could just disappear; there were way too many people caught up worldwide to take it down. Not just villains, civilians too.
One day, when you were with Mina, she recommended that you look more into inventing for the community, like you had thought of during the sleepover. You sat in the living room with spread-out documents.
"I don't think I could change the full thing. But I could definitely change Asia."
"What about the other continents?"
"Hmm. I can't really control what the executives do with the company in those continents. I have my control in the Americas and Africa, but that's it."
"Is it not your company?"
"The other executives don't take me as seriously as my dad."
"Well, make them take you seriously! What are they without your inventions??"
You thought some more as you started to set up a company-wide meeting on the weekend.
Another day, when you were with Bakugou, he was giving you updates about school and his dad. He told you how the avalanche attack went down, the villain now in captivity due to Todoroki and Ochaco. Your classmates were basically healed. And his dad would be getting out of the hospital next week.
You two sat in the living room, he put your legs over his and rubbed them.
"N-Nothing about Kami?" you asked, laying your head beside him on the couch.
He shook his head. "He's been locked up in his room with either Jirou or the grape."
"Not even Sero?" he shook his head again. You grew sad. You didn't think he would isolate himself. You wondered how Kiri and Sero felt being so lost in why the group was barely talking to each other.
"It won't be like this forever."
"How do I even talk to him? Explain that I'm trying to be different?"
He thought and then shrugged. "I don't know, but he'll listen, Y/n." he caressed your cheek to reassure you.
"I wouldn't blame him if he didn't. I probably traumatized him." A tear dropped into his hand. You covered your face with your hands. "I'm so sorry you guys have to have me as a friend."
"Hey hey-"
"I'd be terrified of me too-"
