Dom stopped your pencil. You shifted your eyes to her hand. "You good?" she asked.

"Yeah."

She leaned over your paper, scanning it. "Is the opening stressing you out?" You were going over paperwork for the buildings. You recently had a passing evaluation. You were settling for a spring opening as UA's extension announcement gave spring an opening. Due to the long breaks in the past semesters, UA had decided to continue schooling into a summer program, with a fall graduation.

"No."

"Uh-huh..." She didn't like your single answers. "Is it something with your school? Or someoneee??" you shook your head as she nudged your arm and continued. "Tell me about him, you're usually so busy with work when you're here."

She saw a slight curve in your lip, then felt your tapping start again under her hand. "Oh...is something going on with him?"

You leaned into the long table, covering your face. "No. I just..." You really tried to focus on the paperwork, and it was helping, but you just couldn't stop thinking about Bakugou. You felt like even if you were Bunny, you wouldn't feel as satisfied blowing off steam as you do right now, working on these buildings.

Thinking about how people would react and use the arts inside felt good. It felt good to give people hope or a creative escape in a world so unpredictable and dangerous.

You didn't know how to talk about this with Dom. She's known you since before you became Bunny, but has mostly known you as Bunny. This felt weird.

"He's amazing, Dom." Was it because you now had a support system that didn't expect you to be Bunny? Didn't celebrate getting back at society, even though the people in power were the ones affecting you? "I... think I was just being an asshole."

"Oh, are you guys fighting?"

"No. Hopefully not." You picked up your phone to look at his text again. This time typing more.

Just as you were going to press send, the office room doors flew open. You and Dom whipped your heads.

Salone ran in. "We found him!" You stood, as there could only be one person she could be talking about.

"Where?"

"Some heroes caught his secretary, and she gave up the general area. He's somewhere near Kanazawa."

"How do you know?" Dom asked as she came up to y'all.

"Hawks."

She scoffed. "And we're supposed to trust him?"

"We don't have time, she said they want Y/n." You snapped your eyes to Salone as you were thinking about possible locations.
