You were comparing silver and gold rings on your finger in the mirror the next morning, choosing which to wear to class.

You just realized your timely choice was making you late when you set the silver one down, glancing at the time. "Oh shit."

You quickly rushed, grabbing your bag, the freshly washed robe, and crown, and sped out.

As soon as you got out, you bumped into someone. "I'm..." It was your purple-haired neighbor who was also in a hurry.

"Here." he handed you your phone that had dropped.

"Thanks..." You quietly closed your door. "Um..." He could've kept rushing out, but he didn't. "Are you also late?"

"Not too late," he checked his watch. "Might just be a minute or two."

"Well... would you want to walk together?" you decided to just ask.

"What about Bakugou?"

"Oh, he had to leave early. Some meeting with Izuku and All Might." You saw him thinking and tried to pursue him more; you really wanted to talk to him. "I can even speed us the rest of the way, we wouldn't be late."

"Sure, then." he started walking.

Midway to the school, you decided to start talking. It's been a nice silence before then, but you didn't want to always be so silent with him.

"Is there anything... You want to know?" Shinsou looked at you. "Or like... I don't know, are you uncomfortable around me?"

"Y/n..." You slowed your walk, and he turned to you.

"Cuz I'll answer anything."

"I don't have questions." he shrugged. "It's just... a lot to register right now. I haven't been able to with studies and hero training."

"Oh..." You looked down, not knowing what else to do.

"Y/n." he took a step forward. "It's not really about your identity. It's mostly Bakugou." You peered up. "I thought I wouldn't care about seeing you guys together all the time, but... he's so obnoxious that I can't ever understand why you're with him. I know it's not about me, it's your decision... but then you said who you were and Aizawa increased the hours of our training... It's just a lot right now."

You didn't know whether or not to say sorry for adding to his stress. But at the same time, you didn't know why your relationship was part of it.

"It'll take some time for me to adjust to all this change so quickly, but we are fine."

"O...k..." Honestly, you were confused. It didn't seem to you like any of the other boys were still hung up on you. You always looked happy with Bakugou. You really thought it was just a villain thing.

Does that mean the other guys are also uncomfortable with seeing me with him?

"Let's go. We can still make it." he nudged his head, starting to walk again. You followed while thinking about the other boys.

Why did I think they would just move on so fast?

The class was moved to the school theater. You two walked in late. Luckily, Mr. Aizawa wasn't there yet. Unluckily, Iida popped up from behind you. "You're 20 minutes late!"

"Ahh!" You both turned.

Iida stood there chopping his hands. "I will have to report this to Mr. Aizawa upon his arrival."

"Sorry, dude. We thought class was upstairs-"

"That is no excuse!" he cut you off. "If you were here on time, you would've come down with the rest of us."
