Scared of You

Everyone knows. If they didn't hear it from online, they definitely heard it from Bakugou when he yelled, "FUCK OFF LOSERS, SHE'S MINE!!" once you two got back.

The other boys were obviously hurt, but they knew it was going to be one of them at some point, and it was Bakugou.

Mina instantly dragged you away to her room to talk about the date despite what she already heard online. Kirishima hasn't seen him that happy unless he was relishing in someone's demise.

Throughout the next couple of weeks, you'd tell Bakugou more and more about Bunny. You didn't go too much into Salone, Lollie, and Dom, though. You also kept Hawks knowing a secret, too. Your 'boring' life made a lot more sense to him; you just didn't have time to do normal stuff until you came to UA. He tried the whole convincing you to not be a villain thing, but you talked that down, too. That was all you knew; you built so much from that, you couldn't just stop being one.

You also had to talk Dom down as she was actually surprised that you'd be dating a hero.

Sessions with the box got harder and harder. Over time, you come back to the dorms with a new side effect. Sometimes, it was sensory issues with your hearing/sight, you couldn't even be around Bakugou at times. One time, when the session was with electricity, they continuously shocked you until you didn't glow for 45 minutes. It took 3 hours. You came back to the dorms, and when Kaminari grazed past you, he accidentally shocked you so bad that while you were shaking, you crashed back through the large common room window. Your friends grew more and more concerned with what the box was and why you always came back hours later, worse than everyone else. Mina even noticed Iida, someone you barely interacted with, stressing out at times.

Still no word from your mom. Not surprising, though.

On a Tuesday morning, you were in the common room chilling with Kaminari and Shinsou. Shinsou asked you two to critique his piano progress. You brought your guitar down to play with him.

"You're actually doing great for being a month in." Kami commented.

"Probably all that time listening to Y/n in her room."

You scoffed. "Am I really that loud?" Shinsou pinched his fingers close together. "Fine, I'll wear headphones."

"I mean, I don't care, it's helping, isn't it?"

Kami came towards him. "Yeah, timing-wise. You just need to work on your right hand. You're messing up the notes sometimes to keep up. Even though that hand has pretty simple fingering, you tend to overlook it, thinking too much about the left hand." he helped him reposition his hands while you kept strumming. Then you heard steps behind you.

Just as you turned, you felt a kiss on your cheek. "Hi, Kat."

"You ready?"

You sped up to put your guitar away before coming back down with your bag. "Bye, guys." you waved at them before taking the blonde's hand.

"Later, Y/n." they waved back, and you two left for class.

Silence lingered as Kami looked at Shinsou. "You ok, man?"

He shrugged. "Why wouldn't I be?"

He sat next to him. "It's probably hard seeing her with him."

"I saw them like that even before they were together." He looked at Buzzboy, who had a contemplative look. "Dude, seriously, I'm fine. I'm actually happy we're at least friends."

"Alright. In other words, did you see Minnie at her party?"

"What about her?"

"I think she's interested in you."
