Hello Readers!

I did some thinking after posting the April Fool's chapter / fake Book 3 chapter (Which if you've missed it, you've missed it~). I've noticed a definite lack of engagement with the story over the last dozen chapters or so, so I've decided two things:

1) Despite my own excitement over Book 3, if the interest isn't there, I'm going to take a proper break and work on some other of my writing projects that have fallen by the wayside. That's not to say I WON'T work on it (My brain simply doesn't work like that - if I'm feeling it, I'll write it) I just won't be forcing it or anything.

 - This includes an 11 chapter short HL short story that will NOT be set in Elizabeth Smith's / In the Shadow of Our Choices world and will be titled "The Duelist's Mask", finishing the "Falling Through Letters" Series and accompanying one shots, and finally getting around to writing more of my original work, "The Stolen Soul"

2) On Wattpad book 3 will continue in the same "book" so y'all DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY about switching, just because I'm too lazy to think of another cover. IF YOU SWITCH TO READING ON AO3 HOWEVER, Book 3 will be in its own work under the title "That Bright Future"

Thank you to those of you who routinely comment and interact, you keep me motivated <3

Now for a fun little tidbit! Chapter 95: Prognostications - a breakdown of the predictions by Cassandra Trelawney (Something I've been wanting to do since I wrote the chapter, but it would've had spoilers, obviously. But now that we've finished book 2...):

First of all the "It's NOT larger on the inside" was a joke about how in Doctor Who people always remark on the TARDIS being larger on the inside, but in the magical world, it's weirder to NOT have a tent that's larger on the inside. ANYWHO

Aria's reading:

Cassandra studied her palm for a long moment before speaking.

"Well, to begin with, did you know the shape of your hand is aligned with the element of air? You should be careful not to be too aloof or flighty - you might miss opportunities," Cassandra said with a kind smile, then it turned slightly mischievous. "And try not to be too sarcastic."

"Me? Sarcastic? Never, " Aria said sarcastically.

Andrew nearly spit out his tea trying not to laugh. Cassandra grinned at him, then turned back to Aria's hand and frowned.

"Ah, my dear, your heart line - this top one here. So many breaks... so much heartache, but see how it ends here? I think you will find something you can be content with. As for your head line, I see an epiphany here, some sort of monumental breakthrough, so long as you follow your gut. As for your life line... Seems like you both enjoy life, and are independent," Cassandra said, looking up with another smile. "Everything I'm seeing here points to following your instincts, so this year - try not to get too stuck in your head."

This one was pretty straightforward. It tied into her backstory (Shades of Reputation) and hints at the romance with Andrew, and the epiphany is tied to her struggle to realize that Andrew CAN actually like her, which we saw in that brief POV from her in the last chapter.

Andrew's reading:

As both witches turned to look at Andrew, he hurriedly downed the rest of his tea and nearly choked on a few of the loose leaves - perhaps that was a sign in and of itself, he thought wryly. He'd barely finished when Cassandra snatched the cup from him, peering inside, not waiting for him to drain the last dregs of the tea like Onai had taught them to do, and she snorted.
