Preference : How Bucky showed his love
He showed it in actions, not words.

He would be protective of you. He always wanted to make sure you were safe. Whether it was talking back to some random guy on the street who'd comment on you, or if it was you were being physically attacked, he would block it. Anything to make sure you were safe.

He would always try to be close to you. Whether it was through cuddling, just sitting on the couch, kissing, or walking together, he'd always do his best to be close to you.

He would treat you. Either through making you something; like a meal or a simple gift; by showing you how much he loved you, or through treating you with respect. He would leave you alone if you asked, he would get anything or do anything for you, and he would treat you like a lady. He saw you as someone who was above him or as an equal, because that was what you deserved.
He saw you as a goddess he didn't think he deserved.

He would always make sure you were happy. If you had a bad day, he would cuddle with you and let you talk it out. If you were feeling sick, he would get you medicine and soup. If you feeling any sort of sadness, he would try and do anything to cheer you up.
He always wanted to see you happy.

On those occasions, he would show his love in words. Although he believed actions were more powerful, he knew words were important.
Every once in a while he would explain why he loved you.
Every once in a while he would say the words you needed to hear.
Every once in a while he would say those three words,
I love you.
