A/N - For @BloodRoseAngel . So first of all, the way I'm doing this isn't fiscally a good idea. Basically Bucky would never be able to afford it, but hey, it's a really cute one shot. Also, I've realized that it might seem kind of creepy at first, but I think it becomes cute!

PS - This song is kinda perfect for this one

Hope you enjoy!

It was always Wendy's dream to be in a Broadway show, and now she was. Yes, it was one the smallest shows and the smallest theatre, only seating 597 people, but she was on Broadway.

She swans overjoyed with her job. While the rest of her life wasn't great, with a cheap apartment, student loans, and no social life, she was still living out her dream.

----

With 8 performances a week, she knew the show forwards and backwards. It was all muscle memory now, so her mind went elsewhere.

She would always scan the audience, curious if there was anyone she knew or recognized. There was one man she thought she recognized, but thought nothing of it.

The next night, while she scanned the audience, she noticed the same man, in the same spot. It must of been here that she knew him from, maybe he had come other nights as well.

----

After a week, that man was there each night, always in the front row, right corner. He became one of those strangers you momentarily fall in love with, but then think nothing of afterwards.

After the show and cleaning up in her dressing room, Wendy left out the stage door.

There were always a few people, waiting to meet her and her costars. But once they left, the man from the audience was there. She never realized it in the dark theatre, but he was extremely handsome. She couldn't help but think that, maybe it was the continued exposure to him, but he was just so handsome.

"Hi, I just wanted to say, you're an amazing performer and I loved the show." He said, shyly.

"Thank you, it's nice to know people are enjoying it." She smiled to him. "Can I ask you something?"

He shot her a confused look.

"It's just that I've noticed you every night, sitting in the same spot. I just wanted to know why."

He became relieved. "Oh, yeah. I've been coming for a while. I first came because I loved this theatre as a child, and wanted to come back. And after seeing this show, I've discovered that it makes me forget about my life, which has been pretty nice lately. So, I keep coming back."

"Oh, well that's nice, I mean, not the part that you have to forget about your life, but it's nice that you came back here and you enjoy the show so much and..." She realized she was babbling on, growing nervous because of him.

"Well, yeah. I just glad I found an escape." He smiled to her, hoping it would calm her. Internally, it made it worse for her. "Well, I'll be back, so I'll see you." He slightly smirked, and turned to walk away.

"Bye," she said, quiet enough for really on herself to hear.

----

Every night after that, the two met after the show. He would always wait for her at the stage door and they would talk. Bucky liked it because it continued his relaxation, and she was so friendly and beautiful, he couldn't help but want to be near her. For Wendy, it was nice to have someone to talk to and be intrigued by, and, of course, he was incredibly handsome.
