A/N - Hello everyone! So this is a story of my own request, and it is inspired by the live action Cinderella. I want to do an AU, which I haven't really done much of. But because it's inspired by Cinderella, I'm not going to do the abuse of her, it's just going to be a simple version.

And the beginning is kind of choppy, but I wanted t focus on the prince and you, and I figure you all understand the story.

Enjoy!

Love was an amazing concept to you. The different forms, how quickly or slowly it is, and how some people don't have any in their hearts.

The different forms were shown to you by your parents.

The speed was shown to you by a man you met in the forest.

The absence of love was shown to you by your stepmother and stepsisters.

----

Your mother died when you were young, so you spent a lot of your life without a parent. But after a while, your father found another woman. He wanted to start a new chapter. But sadly it was his last chapter. He passed away while working, and you were left alone with your stepfamily.

You became more of a servant after your father passed.

----

After a morning of being humiliated, you needed to get away. So you took your horse out and rode out to the woods. The only reason you stopped was because your horse was scared of a stag in front of him.

You stared in his eyes for a few seconds until you heard a trumpet and many horses running toward you.

"Run!"

The stag listened before you could say anything else, and your horse took off toward the animal.

Galloping at full speed, you almost didn't notice the man to your left.

"Woah there," he commanded the horse.

"Are you alright, miss?" He asked.

"I'm alright, but the stag and the horse are both scared." You said as you looked up at him. He was very handsome. Strong jaw, piercing eyes, pristine clothing.

"The stag is scared?"

"Well, yes. He was filled with fear. Why do you need to hunt him anyway?"

"It is tradition."

You barely laughed. "Well, what is done is not always what should be done."

The man smiled, and he grew even more beautiful. "That's true."

You smiled back at him, "Well, I should be in my way..."

"Wait," he interrupted, "what is your name?"

"That doesn't matter,"

"It does to me."

You looked up to him, but keeping your head low.

"You first."

"Uh... Bucky. At least that's what my father calls me, and that's the only name I really like."

"Come on, your hi..." Another man shouted.

"Bucky! Call me Bucky." You laughed as he shouted back.

"Well, Bucky, we have to go."

"Alright!" He shouted, then focusing his attention be to you. "Will I see you again?"

"Maybe," you smirked.

He smiled back as his horse started toward the other men.
