Taylor's P.O.V

Sitting in front of my vanity mirror in my bedroom a small smile spreads across my face as out of the corner of my eye I can see that I have an audience watching me put on my red lipstick. Turning around I spot the familiar green eyes eying me up and down and then nodding. 'I guess I pass inspection' I decide as I also look her up and down. I watch as she comes closer to me and sits on the edge of my bed. "Ready to go my love?" She questions as I shudder and warm butterflies spread through my stomach. Nodding as I stand and go to walk towards my wardrobe to grab my new heeled boots I brought for this occasion when I was feeling nervous this morning. As I get closer I notice part of her hair hanging down so I stop and move in between her legs and stand to tuck the stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Defiantly Karlie." She shivers and I supress a small smile as I step backwards and admire her long lanky frame hanging out on my...well our bed. "You look good Karls." She smiles and looks at me. "I love that turtleneck, it looks similar to mine..." I blush and return to get my boots.
"Yeah funny story." I say walking away as she stands up and follows me. I turn and see her looking at me for an explanation. "It is yours. I borrowed it when I stayed with you last week so I kept wearing it. I'll give it back when it's washed. You know that." I state as she nods and smiles a red tinge crosses her face and I feel like she totally just blushed but who would know? I turn back and locate my boots. Holding them triumphantly I retreat to my bed and put them on, Karlie watches. "Martha gave you the idea right?" she questions as I look at my feet. She was right, Martha had sent me the link of the store and where to buy them. I nod and she smiles. "I like them, just not on me." I smile and decide to take it as a semi compliment, not a rare occurrence from Karlie but it seemed borderline flirty.

With matching smiles we left my apartment after Karlie had her hugs with Meredith and then Olivia wanted to be hugged too so that was an extra ten minutes once Karlie got Olivia purring and I spent the whole time rolling my eyes before stalking towards the kitchen and shaking the cats food and feeding them whilst wondering if I was seriously jealous of my cats because Karlie was paying them attention and not me. 'Are you for real Taylor? Your jealous of your cats? Get a grip!' I thought to myself as I turned and noticed her green eyes staring at me again and I felt my legs weaken a little. I knew I had to get a grip over my obvious girl crush, specifically since Karlie was also my best friend. "Ready?" she asked as I grabbed my purse and walked past her, feigning madness.
"Sure lets go, unless you wanna take the cats instead?" She looked confused and then smiled and laughed. "Oh my god were you jealous of your cats? You small minded pop singer. I want to go to the game with you, even if you don't understand basketball." I laugh and instantly took the hand that she offered when I did laugh. "Well at least the company will be good." I state with a smirk as she looks a little lost and then recovers by nodding. "Yes, yes it will." We exit the apartment building together and like normal separate so nothing gets printed that may be false information, or so Tree says. Although I still don't understand why two female best friends have to protect that friendship and make it seem like we are not best friends. But I guess that's the life I've chosen, to be in the spot light, at least Karlie gets a life and can date whoever she wants without being labelled a man-eater or the fact that she gest a boyfriend as often as she shops for clothes. It's a hurtful world my life is part of but that's what I chose to do when I became an artist, I gave up my free speech and expression to be who I like and when I like, I have too many fans who look up to me for me to make a wrong move. Everything is calculated, like this Knicks basketball game, Tree literally looked up who I would be sitting next to just so it wouldn't be inappropriate. Thankfully Ben Stiller makes the good people to sit next to list so we are good to go. Court side tickets.

Karlie's P.O.V

The trip to the game was uneventful but my palms were sweating as I wondered if I could last the whole game without looking to obvious at Taylor. I sneak a glance at her, 'god she's gorgeous!' I decide looking at her wavy hair that hangs in a small bob, her complete black attire and I can feel the affection bubbling up inside me, I can't help it but I know I have to get a handle on it tonight specifically when the cameras are on. We sat down as soon as security escorted us to our seats and to my delight I found out that we were seated next to Ben Stiller and his son which was cool. Ben and Taylor chatted straight away as I left to get us a drink and some food. Coming back I noticed Taylor was seated by herself and looking nervous and it felt like someone had hit me in the chest, I never wanted Taylor to feel that way and she shouldn't have to feel that way either. Quickly walking back to our seats I slipped down next to her and handed her some popcorn and her diet coke. Her blue eyes looked at me and I was hooked instantly and from then on I never left her side. People came around selling things and I quickly brought her a New York Knicks jersey she was eying up along with two New York Knicks badges. She thanked me and pinned hers on her chest which I liked because it gave me the option to stare at her and say I was admiring her pin. She turned to me and went to talk but stopped and quickly turned away. Turning around I saw three couples behind me obviously just making out and I understood completely why she turned away. I got that she missed having someone in her life, I had Josh but even that is more of a friendship than anything. I don't know what I would do if we ever played one of those teenage games that asked each other who our male and female crushes were. I mean everyone has that one person they would turn for, and for me it is her. Taylor Alison Swift, born December 13 1989. I love her but she can never know.

I managed to convince her in the half to have a cup of beer with me, she nodded but I could tell she was unsure. "Look it will be fine, your definitely not under twenty one anymore so just please, take a drink with me?" I questioned and even tried to do some puppy eyes to go along with it, something happened and it worked so she had a drink but just one. It put her in a better mood and when the game finished and we were led across the court and out to where security parked she held my hand. I knew that she was just thankful for the company but I couldn't help but think that Tree would absolutely do her nut over this but one look at Taylor and I didn't care. I would be told off hundreds of times if it meant that Taylor was happy. The trip home to her apartment was quiet as neither of us had much to say and the silence was not awkward which was great. Security pulled to a stop outside her apartment block as she turned to me. "Want to come in?" she questioned. I nodded and looked at my watch, seeing it was already 11.00pm I added, "half an hour." She nodded and stepped out from the car, not even worrying about paparazzi and I knew she was happy I had said yes. It didn't take us long to wait for the elevator which was finally working and then before I knew it I was sitting on her couch nursing a cup of peppermint tea and a few of my Kookies that I often gave her since she loved them. I could hear her banging around in the kitchen but I decided to leave her as Olivia came wandering in and smooched my legs before settling on my feet that were covered by socks, having removed my converse by the front door like normal. The clicking of Taylor's boots on her hardwood floor alerted me to her return. "I couldn't find any of those cracker things you liked," she stated looking down. "Guess I need to go shopping." She stated as I laughed.
"Really? Just for crackers, Kookies are fine. Remember I eat these ones." Her eyes flew to the Kookies on the table as she smacked her forehead. "God! I forgot. What a waste of ten minutes." I laugh again as she sits down next to me and reaches for her own peppermint tea, usually we have wine or coffee but as it's now 11.32pm we decided on tea tonight.

I was sitting and admiring the way her lounge looked when she suddenly spoke. "Can I ask you something Karlie?" she questioned as I nodded and turned to her, it was obviously serious because she said Karlie instead of Karls which she often calls me, well she always says Karls which sounds amazing coming from her lips. "Do you think it's normal to have a girl crush?" I felt my eyes leap off my face, "Uhm, well I guess it is normal to feel attached to someone despite their sex. Why?" I watch her shake her head before she answered, "no reason, I just wondered if you'd ever had those kind of thoughts." I felt my face go red as she looked at me. "Oh my god you have!" she shouted, "who?" I looked away and then I saw her eyes and I knew I couldn't lie, she would know. "Well yeah I have. I think about my girl crush all the time, I don't know how they feel about me or if they even think of me but yeah I do." She looks at me waiting patiently and as if time stands still I look her in the eyes and say. "It's you Taylor. You're my girl crush." The room goes silent and I knew then that the night was over. Standing I take my cup towards the kitchen and rinse it out before I let out a massive sigh. Turning around all I see is a flash of blonde before I'm pressed roughly against the counter in Taylor's kitchen. Blue meets green as I look at Taylor and notice her breathing deeply. "Did.You.Mean.It?" she questions as I look at her and nod. "Of course I did. You're my girl crush." She nods and before I can register whats going on she kisses me, full force on the lips. My legs weaken the minute her soft cherry red lips meet mine and I know that there is no going back from this but I don't care. I like her a lot and so I do what anyone would do if their crush kissed them. I kiss her back. As softly as I can until I hear what I'm looking for, her moan of approval. The moan that lets me know she feels the same way. We kiss for  awhile until we pull back needing air. I look at her lipstick which is smudged across her lips as she smiles at me. "You're my crush to Karlie." She states as I smile and bring her close enough so I can land a kiss on her forehead. "You mean so much to me Taylor." She leans back and kisses my chin.
"I might just be in love with you Karlie Elizabeth Kloss." My eyes widen as I look down at her red face as I hug her and whisper in her ear, "that's very good news. I really like you and could possibly be in love with you too." We stand in her kitchen for the better part of the night until we decide that a bed would be a better place to cuddle and sleep. Finding comfort in the room set aside for me I take Taylor into my arms as she cuddles into me. It's then that I realise that this is possible because of the trip to the game. I secretly thank the New York Knicks for existing and Victoria's Secret for allowing me to meet such a wonderful person that is Taylor Alison Swift.
