The basket of laundry goes flying out of Taylor's arms when she trips over the cord on Karlie's laptop for the hundredth time. The singer goes tumbling to the ground in the midst of various t-shirts, jeans, socks and underwear. She lands rather roughly on the floor, taking the brunt of the fall on the palms of her hands. The rug burns roughly against her skin and she hisses in embarrassment and frustration."Karlie!" Taylor yells knowing the model is somewhere in the house and will pop up when she hears the singer's pissed off scream. She hears a muffled noise from the bathroom and turns from her position on the floor to see Karlie sticking her head out of the door, toothbrush in her mouth, toothpaste foam speckling her lips. She tilts her head in question making Taylor sigh and point at her. "You left the charger for your laptop on the floor again. This has to be the twentieth time I've tripped on it this week." Karlie's head ducks sheepishly and she holds her finger up for Taylor to wait and returns to finish brushing her teeth. Taylor is shocked at her audacity to do so. She hears the faucet shut off and Karlie soon appears after and has the audacity to say, "Why can't you just step over it?" Taylor glowers at the girl that has long since become a woman, her woman and more recently her wife. "Why can't you just put it away like a normal person?" Taylor questions rubbing her palms in anger as Karlie scoffs and rolls her eyes, moving to pick up the cord and then she makes a rookie mistake in married life, she insults her wife.
"It's not my fault that you're blind as a bat." Taylor looks at her 'wife' in shock as Karlie actually looks down and swallows loudly knowing she made a mistake. "You know I have bad eyesight! Besides even with my glasses or contacts in, if I'm walking to do something I'm not looking at the floor. It's an inconvenience and I'm tired of it!" This makes Karlie look up at her wife, she knows that they've had plenty of fights during their relationship but nothing like this current one. Karlie's eyes narrow as she wraps the cord around the charging brick of her laptop. "It's just a charger, relax!" But this only makes Taylor throw back her head in a laugh and shake her head. "It's not just the charger, Karlie. You're a slob. You leave your dishes out, you don't clean around the house at all, you don't do your laundry until I mention something or get so annoyed that I do it myself, which by the way I just did! It's like I run the entire house and you're just leeching off of me." Taylor finds that her point is probably made, but she considers bringing up the stacks of paper that clutter her home office, the bed that's never made, the disorganized closet but chooses not to. Deep down she feels bad for airing things out this way, but if she hadn't tripped she realizes that she would have sat on it for another month at least. They've both been in the honeymoon phase since returning almost five weeks ago from Bora Bora.
Karlie is shocked at how deep Taylor's anger runs for her bad cleanliness habits. She's a bit hurt by Taylor's insults, to be honest. "Well I didn't know you felt this way."
"I shouldn't have to mention it at all! If you weren't such a fucking mess all the time this wouldn't be a problem. My house is always such a wreck now." Taylor knows that she's probably taken it a step too far calling it 'her' house as they both take care of the bills on Taylor's Tribeca apartment in the middle of New York City, but something needed to be said. Karlie does look hurt now which means it's too late to go back and change her words. "Your house? I thought we lived together, Taylor, but if this is how you feel then maybe we shouldn't." Karlie states standing up making Taylor nervous as she tries to back out of the hurtful words she just spoke a mere twenty seconds prior. "Don't be dramatic, Karlie, I'm just asking you to clean up after yourself for once."
"It sounds like more than that!" Karlie states moving towards the edge of the room, neither has mentioned the fact that they are married to each other and their marriage is very much consummated. As consummated as a female-female relationship can be. Not that either one of them is actually thinking of divorcing over some hurtful comments. But they both subconsciously know that this fight ends the honeymoon period.
The two girls inch closer to each other, voices rising in pitch as the intensity of the argument heightens. Taylor's an animated talker and her hands are flying left and right as she shouts at Karlie. Karlie's natural body language is imposing and intimidating when threatened and when Taylor begins to yell at her, she puffs forward and leans close to Taylor. She's not sure where the belief started, but she thinks that her point gets across more if she's saying it directly to someone's face. Taylor huffs and moves closer. "Well, it's not! Sorry if you took it that way," Taylor's 'apology' sounds incredibly ingenuine and Karlie laughs. "You're such an ass sometimes, you know that? You think because you're some big-shot superstar in the music world that I'm going to let you walk all over me?" Karlie questions snarling a little because she feels like she's being attacked by her wife. "So are you!" Taylor resorts, "You're an ass too sometimes. It makes me feel bad for whoever ends up with you, but wait that's me...your personal maid." She states gesturing to the apartment and then pointing at the basket of clean washing that is now spread across the floor of the apartment.
Each word is like a physical leap forward. They're centimeters away from each other now as Taylor can smell the toothpaste on Karlie's breath. The air between them is heavy with aggression and pent up frustration. Taylor's lips separate to say something before Karlie can, but the model bursts forward and captures Taylor's face in her hands before kissing her on the lips. The lip-lock is mad, passionate and rough. They're not kissing for pleasure, or intimacy, but rather as another outlet to get out emotions. Karlie's lips are moving urgently against Taylor's, and their eyes are screwed shut. Karlie's hands drift off of Taylor's face and go down to clutch the older girl's shoulders roughly. Taylor's wearing a thin tank top and feels Karlie's fingernails dig into her flesh. She hisses into the kiss and Karlie silences her by letting her tongue slip between Taylor's lips. They're out of breath when Karlie steps backwards, bringing Taylor with her, towards the couch. They collapse on top of each other, Taylor adjusting quickly to straddle Karlie's hips. Their lips part briefly but there's an urgency to reconnect them soon thereafter. Taylor and Karlie go on like this for another few long, breathless minutes, until Taylor finally pops off of Karlie and catches her breath. Karlie wipes her lips with the back of her hand and stares up at the singer. "You really think I'm an ass?" Taylor asks, cockiness dripping in her voice. "Maybe. I'm a slob?"
"Absolutely." Taylor leans back down with a smile and the next few hours are spent pressed close together, apologizing for their harshness with actions rather than words.
Little bit of smut for you to all enjoy.
