Taylor's P.O.V

The day has been completely normal so far, Karlie's busy baking up a storm in the kitchen trying to make my favourite cookies, toasted coconut. I'm writing new material for the much anticipated TS6 album that has fans everywhere waiting patiently for and wanting it so badly. I guess because I'm now actively dating Karlie despite our new President being the one and only Donald Trump they're excited to see where I go to next with my writing and I must admit that I've been furiously writing since my latest altercation with Kanye and Kim and also now with Barack Obama out and Donald Trump the new President of the United States of America.

But as I'm about to write down a cute zinger line I just thought of a huge crash comes from the kitchen and I hear an "OW! Shit, that burns." Realizing that it's actually Karlie that has spoken I quickly leave my pen and paper and head towards the kitchen with my hippy weird run that I do. I'm not an athletic person but I'm getting better. I think it's the unnecessary trips to the gym that I seem to take now and the lack of actual sweets in the house. Instead I have lots of fresh vegetables and gluten free and dairy free things like chocolate cake. It took a while for me to get used to it and I admit I still have a junk food draw in the piano room and I don't believe that Karlie knows about it either.

By the time I reach the kitchen I see cookies scattered all over the ground and Karlie leaning over the sink with her hand already under cold water. "Babe, what happened?" I question stepping over the cookies and as much as I want to grab one and eat it I stop myself and instead walk to Karlie's side. Throwing one hand around her waist I peer over her shoulder and see the inflamed wrist. Shutting of the water, I watch Karlie wince as I grab a towel from nearby and pat it dry. "How about to the hospital?" I question but Karlie shakes her head, she hates them. "What happened then?" I try again. Karlie blows her hair out of her face and says, "I thought I could carry the pan with one hand and when I almost dropped it I put this hand under it and..." she laughs, a terrible wince jolting her body, "well, this is the result." I sigh and look at her hand again and then say,  "Oh God, babe," I grimace looking at the burned area that is now red, raw, and already blistering. "Do you need to go to the hospital? It looks so bad."
"I don't think so, hot stuff," Karlie smirks making me roll my eyes but move towards the first aid kit that usually I have to use but not this time, I smile at the sentence Karlie used but I need to focus so I say, "Don't start."
"Afraid you won't be able to put me out?" Karlie questions making me roll my eyes, although I do still smile at the corny, stupid joke. "You are ridiculous and not funny."

Karlie just grins at me until I grab the disinfectant and she sighs at me, "can't we just use alcohol..." I look at her as she continues and says, "you know, one for me and then one for my hand..." I roll my eyes and she sighs, "I thought it was funny, but I guess go ahead, you will anyway." I smile at her cuteness and kiss her cheek as I put a pad of disinfectant down on the middle of her hand. Karlie yelps and bites her lip which would usually turn me on but it doesn't and I know it just burns her. "Well, I guess this makes me kinda hot now doesn't it?" Karlie questions watching me reach for the gauze as I try not to smile at her. "You need to stop." I state as I reach for a bandage and quickly wrap it around her hand. Pointing to the couch I'm quick to order her to go and sit so she can keep out of trouble. "Go sit on the couch, babe." Karlie's lips move towards mine and so I make quick work of leaning over for a kiss as I state, "I'll clean up the kitchen and save my cookies. You're super lucky that my floor was cleaned this morning." I state making Karlie laugh as she walks towards the living room.

It doesn't take me long and the kitchen is back to normal, baking ingredients are away and the dishwasher is already on with a load of dirty dishes. Sometimes it's easy to forget that outside the four walls of the house I'm a super pop star as days like today where I patch up my girlfriends burnt hand just seem normal. But with a final look around I class the room as clean so I head next door to see Karlie. Her hand looks bad but she's not holding it up which is good. She's scrolling through Netflix and when I come in she selects Titanic to watch. I glance at her and she only says, "stop it we're only watching it because you helped me with my hand. Not because I want to. I really can't be bothered watching you recite all the lines but it's better than watching SVU because we did that yesterday. I smile and kiss her lips and then move my kisses to her injured hand which is where I place individual kisses to her fingers and some to her palm before stating and smiling as I say, "Even you're not immune to fire, sunshine." I watch as Karlie's mouth opens and shuts but as ten seconds pass by she knows she's lost the opportunity to say something witty back so she settles for kissing my forehead and saying. "Well played Swift, well played."

Just a short update. Hope you're all doing well and if you havent already. Please check out my new story coming in MARCH 2017. It's called Our Life. It's Kaylor and it's in my library with the prologue already up.
