Taylor's P.O.V

The day that Karlie took me to her favourite spot in St. Louis was probably the best day that I'd ever spent with her. We had spent the day sitting in a café in one of Karlie's old favourite places since she was a kid. It's the one café that she always comes to alone. But this time it's not the peaceful experience that Karlie usually has and that's when she says.

She said let's get out of this town
Drive out of the city
Away from the crowds
I thought heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever
But this is gonna take me down
She's so tall, and handsome as hell
She's so bad but he does it so well
I can see the end as it begins my one condition is,

Our entire trip to St. Louis changes when we get out of St. Louis, a small village town not even ten minutes away from Karlie's family home where we had been staying. There is a massive forest and inside the forest is a few tracks that Karlie has always told me that she loved to climb and hike. It was amazing to go there and see her and watch how getting away from the city changes her mood. Her lips are plump and red from the raspberries that she ate on the hike up and her cheeks flushed red due to the altitude. But then as we reach the top the one thing that gets me is the view. The sunset sky dances across her face and the ease of it relaxes us both instantly. There is nothing better than getting away from the city.

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams (Ah ah)
Wildest dreams (Ah ah)

Our getaway to the sunset top it refreshing and the moment that we get home Karlie drags us off to her bedroom. We begin to make-out but Karlie stops us and as I lean up to kiss her some more she says, "no wait."
"No one has to know, everyone will be out for another few hours..." I whisper to her with a grin on my face and that's when she leans down and kisses me some more. As she rolls us over she makes sure that she is underneath me and she uses that as the opportunity to spank my ass making me squeak and her giggle. With that in mind we disappear under the sheets for a few hours and our last steamy kiss means the world to me as Karlie disappears to shower as I continue to lie in bed.

I said no one has to know what we do
Her hands are in my hair, her clothes are in my room
And her voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever
But this is getting good now
She's so tall, and handsome as hell
She's so bad but he does it so well
And when we've had our very last kiss
But my last request is
Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams (Ah ah) (Ah ah)
Wildest dreams (Ah ah)

The image of Karlie and her mom in the front seat of their family SUV and I'm in the back. I can see Karlie shooting me hot steamy glances through the main mirror in the car. I can feel myself squirming under her gaze which makes her do it more. I can't help but think about my future and when I'm older how the memories that Karlie and I have formed on this trip will last for a long time. It's my favourite trip that I've ever had with any one of my serious relationships but nothing seems to mean more than this one. It's simple and down to earth and describes us perfectly.

You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burn it down
Some day when you leave me
I bet these memories hunt you around
You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burn it down (Burn it down)
Some day when you leave me
I bet these memories follow you around (Follow you around)

As the plane ascends into the sunset skies over St. Louis after a perfect weekend away I can't help but long for the weekend past. I turn to Karlie and snuggle into her. She hums in appreciation and wraps her available arm that isn't playing with her iPhone. I say to her in a low voice hardly above a whisper, "even if we need to pretend like this weekend didn't happen in order to protect our image then its fine. Okay? I want you to know that it's fine." I expect her to answer with a hum or a nod but instead she looks at me and says, "I'm never going to pretend that this weekend didn't exist. This is one of the best weekends that we've ever had together and now we need to take a selfie.." I go to protest but she says, "I loved that dress that you wore as we watched that sunset and I love you. We need to protect that and I need to cherish it at the same time. So please, selfie?" I smile as I kiss her cheek and the camera snaps.

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just pretend
Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just (Just pretend, just pretend) in your wildest dreams
(Ah ah)
In your wildest dreams (Ah ah)
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams (Ah ah)
In your wildest dreams (Ah ah)
