Christmas 2021

Karlie's P.O.V

"Wakey wakey eggs and bakey..." I coo into Taylor's ear at 12.32am on the 25th December.
"Mmmh, Karlie...don't I wanna sleep." She groans rolling over towards the window side of the bed, away from me. "But baby please..." I groan out trying to roll Taylor over to face me but she's fighting hard. So instead I change to a different method, jumping up and down on the bed. The constant motions make her groan out and roll over, her blue eyes stare me right in the face. "What do you want?" she groans.
"I want you to get up and help me." I state,
"With what?" she questions sitting up and adjusting her pyjama top which is nothing more than my old cardinals shirt from a few years ago when I threw the opening pitch. "Babe, look at the clock." I plead as she looks at me with a pointed expression before shoving her glasses on her face and looking over her shoulder and when she sees the clock glowing 12.41am and then she sits straight up. "Oh my gosh, it's time. Karlie let's go." Taylor states rushing out of the bed and down the hallway. I grin and shake my head at the sight of my wife rushing from the room wearing a St. Louis Cardinals shirt and a pair of black panties.

I stand and walk out as well, but instead of rushing down the stairs to the Christmas tree I stop off and grab the presents for the santa stocking for our baby boy. Archie Samuel Swift-Kloss, born on the 6 May 2020. This year will be the first year that he will be able to successfully enjoy Christmas with the entire family and eat a proper Christmas dinner. Last year's Christmas was an energetic one full of love and laughter but with Archie only being seven months old it made things difficult. For starters we didn't end up flying to Nashville or St. Louis, instead our family came to us in New York. It made things easier as Archie had been sick with an ear infection in the lead up to Christmas and none of our family, mine or Taylor's wanted us to go to them.

I grab the presents and I walk downstairs too. Choosing not to look in on Archie and instead focus on laying the presents down under the tree. Taylor has already spent nap times wrapping them so we only have to put a few in the stocking that she made for Archie and then we eat the cookies and drink some of the milk before we head back upstairs. I check my phone and see that mom has text to say that they will be at ours by 9.30am. I text to confirm before allowing Taylor to drag us back to bed where we snuggle until I feel myself starting to slip off to dreamland.

Taylor's P.O.V

A ray of rare sunshine in December in New York wakes me, I feel Karlie stir behind me as I go to sit up. Feeling Karlie rise as well I turn around and kiss her lips tenderly before dragging myself to the shower. I leave Karlie to deal with Archie if he wakes but lately he's been sleeping like a champion so I wouldn't be surprised if he sleeps until 8.30 or 9.00am. So I'm not really that shocked to feel Karlie behind me. I feel her arms wrap around me and grapple my breasts causing me to moan. "Mmm, babe that's good." I groan as Karlie chuckles against the back of my neck before sliding around me and pressing herself against my front. As our breasts press together causing all types of good vibes on my end. "Karlie, mmm, we don't have time. What about Archie?" I state as Karlie lays her head on my shoulder and her tongue laps out as she licks up my sweet spot. I try to push her away but it's half-hearted as she kisses her way up my neck as her hands explore downwards. "Mmm, but what about your parents or us getting ready for Christmas?" I questioned as Karlie stops and looks at me. "You're my present, but I guess we really should go..." Karlie states scooting past me in an attempt to get out but I only grab her and yank her back towards me and together we finish what we started.

Karlie stumbles out of the shower ahead of me, but a permanent smile on her face which makes me grin. "Mmm, that was great baby, thanks." She states before she leaves the bathroom, while I'm still holding onto the shower wall. She looks over her shoulder at me and says, "I'll get Archie ready, see you downstairs later." I manage to nod at her as she leaves and I stumble towards the bathroom vanity to brush my teeth, I take in my appearance and smirk. It's obvious that I've had a tousle in the shower but nothing that a hairbrush can't fix. It takes me a further thirty minutes to get myself fully ready for the day ahead. Karlie will already have the vegetables prepared and Archie will be eating when I get downstairs. Hopefully the meat will also be cooked perfectly by the time lunch comes around. We're having roast chicken and roasted vegetables. I dress in a pair of nice dark denim jeans and my favourite mauve jersey and a pair of brown boots. As I get downstairs I'm greeted by a fruity baby and Karlie dancing around in her favourite pair of green jeans and a white cream jersey. I swoop in and press a few kisses on Archies fruity cheek. He gurgles happily and so I scoop him up, taking care not to let his fruity hands cover me. I wipe his face off and walk upstairs in order to change him into his Christmas outfit which consists of a pair of dark wash jeans and a navy sweater. When I stand him up on his feet he quickly rushes towards his toys. He loves to run anywhere now that he's learned how to do it. I grin at him and put his brown high-topped shoes on.

When I take him downstairs I shut the baby gate to prevent him from going back upstairs and I shut our sliding doors to lock off the lounge to prevent him seeing the presents. I'm hoping that everyone shows up soon so that Archie is at least a little distracted by everyone. He loves Karlie's parents a lot and so it's always nice when he gets to see them in person rather than through a skype screen. Within a few hours the who family has arrived and Archie is in his prime area of expertise, dancing for everyone. Karlie is forever joking that he has my dancing skills but I don't care at least he has fun like I do. I can't wait until he's older so that he can come with me. Even as we sit down to lunch he's still acting like a goofball which makes me laugh and everyone jokes about how he's lucked out and will probably be 6ft and as uncoordinated as a baby giraffe. As I glance around the table at the food that we have and I can't help but wonder what next year's Christmas will look like, what will life be like in ten years? Will I be touring? Will we live in New York? What's next for us?

On a side note, does any one know what the limit of parts are per book on Wattpad? I have no idea and we're up to part 136 including the requests page.
