Taylor's P.O.V

"Taylor this is supposed to be the most exciting time of your life right now, what's the matter?" my mom questions as she sits down next to me on the couch in her Nashville home. I sigh deeply and rub over my protruding belly, "I'm not sure. I guess when I was here four months ago and I discovered this miracle I expected things to change with Adam and I but..." I trail off as I look down. I hear my mom sigh from beside me and then move closer. She takes my hand and intertwines our fingers in comfort, I feel a sense of calm come over me as I relax back into the couch. "So what are we supposed to do, I mean we have this life coming in only six months and I'm so lost and confused." I state my mom doesn't say anything she stays silent I guess expecting me to keep talking and so I do. "When I wanted to leave, he wanted me to stay and when I finally left after months of being ignored he acted like a possessive husband and he called you and dad wondering where I was and calling me unstable...and then I found out I was pregnant and so I went back but now things aren't any better. Things aren't changing and I'm wondering when it's all going to end." My mom looks a little shocked at my outburst and then she calmly says, "well I guess it all comes down to what you want Taylor, we are all around you and we support you. So do your friends but at the end of the day, you've got to be happy and healthy and if this thing between you and Adam doesn't feel healthy there is a large chance that it's not and it could be harming you and your baby." My mom states as she places a hand on my abdomen and smiles as she feels the familiar roundness that she's experienced twice in her lifetime.

The following few weeks are tense as I fly back to L.A and meet up with Austin, he knows that his only job once he's with me is to protect me and try to help me to get Adam to understand that although this baby that we will share is a blessing it doesn't mean that the pair of us are destined to be together. The plane lands with a bump and security look at me as I cradle my small bump, I see them exchange a look and it makes me laugh. "Yes, okay I cradled the bump." I state as they laugh and we start to get organised to leave the plane. The pregnancy isn't out in public yet as Adam decided that he wanted it to be kept secret for longer, despite me being desperate to share the news with fans. I've been respectful of him, I step onto the tarmac thankful for the wind that is blowing my flowing dress around and I see Austin, hugging him with a large smile we get in the car and drive to Adam's house since that's where he demanded that I live now. I hate his house, it's so cold and open to everything. It doesn't feel like a home, it feels like a bachelor pad for a man who will not grow up. I mean Adam literally spends most of the day with his 'man squad' and they play pool, shoot nerf guns and sometimes make music but lately that's been few and far between. Adam has also started drinking again which I'm not excited about in the slightest. "Are you coming in?" I question Austin as the car stops and enters the code, I can see Adam's Range Rover in the driveway. Austin nods and it give me reassurance that it's going to be okay regardless.

The whole house is silent as I step into it but then I hear a "Tay Tay's here Adam..." I think it's Burns' voice but I'm not sure so I don't say anything more than a, "hey." Adam rounds the corner and looks at me. "That dress will show it off, you can't wear things like that." I blink at him as his friends come into the room, "geez Adam that's a bit rough mate..." Burns states as the others nod. "No it's not, she's having my baby. That's my heir or heiress in there..." Adam states pointing the bump but as he's about to go on a rant which is regular whenever I'm here that's why I've been with my mom. "Actually Adam, it's Teffy's body and she can do what she wants with it." Adam stares past me at Austin who has appeared next to me. "Shut-up you don't know anything, this is between Taylor and I." Adam states but Austin laughs,
"Mate, it's about family and that baby," Austin states stepping in as a protector for me. I decide to intervene before it gets worse and Adam looks at me, "so why are you here, you and your brother?" I look at Austin slightly shocked because at one point Adam and Austin were great friends but I guess things change sometimes. "I'm just getting all my stuff Adam." I say bravely despite feeling disadvantaged. Adam turns and looks at me and then says, "why, we're getting things ready. What's going on?" I look at the boys and everyone scuttles off, even Austin steps backwards.
