"Oh my god, thank you so much for coming Taylor..." Lily cries from the doorway as Taylor walks through it with a confident smile on her face. "It's so good to see you Lil, it's been far too long." Taylor states as Lily nods in a confirming sort of way. "I agree but you little miss concert pianist have been off doing your little symphony for the better part of the last three years so it's been a little hard to find and see you." Lily states making Taylor grin at her friend,
"Well I'm sorry, I've tried my best but sometimes it's just too busy to get away specifically if there are back to back concerts on." Taylor states with a smile as Lily leads her into the house and into the party where a group of Lily's friends are huddled in the lounge. "So just make yourself at home and I'll be back as soon as I can." Lily states making Taylor nod and smile as she cautiously hangs out at the doorway looking at the large group in the lounge because despite her job of being around large groups of people and such she's not good in social settings.

Taylor strips off her jacket and looks at the group once more, she notices that they all seem really tight knit and close and that makes Taylor feel like more of an outsider than she already did five minutes previously. Just as she's about to move towards the group and introduce herself to someone but she doesn't even get that far as the moment she moves the front door opens again and a really tall model like woman walks in and stands in the doorway, Taylor feels her gaze over her but the gaze passes the second that the moment is over as the woman declares, "Karlie Kloss in the house!" Taylor stares at the brazen woman as she walks towards the group and then turns to look at Taylor, "coming over or you gonna stand there?" She questions making Taylor walk towards her and extend her hand with the manners that she'd been taught. "Oh put that away, I'm gathering that you're Taylor since you're the only one I don't know here." Taylor nods and walks towards the group and by the time Lily returns with a bottle of wine Taylor has more or less become another member of the group and by the end of the night Taylor has even managed to get Cara, Gigi, Martha and even Karlie's number's and they all promise to keep in touch.

Six Months Later...

Karlie has never been so excited in her life, it's the first time since she met Taylor that Taylor is going to let her into her daily life and actually let her view what she does for a concert. Karlie has heard that Taylor is going to be playing the piano tonight and that excites her a lot because she's always been a fan of music and music is the one connection she has to her father who worked in Afghanistan for the army. He was one of the leading doctors over there until one night the camp was hit by an IED and they ended up blowing up the camp and her dad came home with an extensive panic disorder and every time something drops on the ground he starts to hyperventilate in the chair and the only thing that gets him through it is music. Karlie has become adapt to listening to music whenever she comes home to visit with her parents. The buzzing of her cellphone startles Karlie and she looks downwards at it. Seeing that it's Taylor she quickly answers it. "Hey Tay,"
"Karlie, hey I'm just double checking that you're actually coming, I mean it's cool, if you're busy but yeah..." Taylor states going off at the end and not finishing the sentence before Karlie quickly states, "No, I'm here and I'm ready to look at this concert because after six months of begging to see what you do for a job I'm not gonna miss out now so deal with it. Besides, you've seen me at work so play fair." Karlie states as she looks at the surroundings and sees that people are taking their seats. "If you're certain then I'm glad that you'll be out there watching. I'll be on piano today." Taylor states happily hanging up as Karlie finds a seat and sits down, placing her handbag on the ground happily and watching as the lights dim.

A few songs into the concert Karlie is sitting there listening mostly to the piano and as Taylor starts to play the opening notes of Karlie's dad's favourite song Amazing Grace, it sounds so sweet that it results in Karlie starting to cry and tear up in the eyes. 'Oh my god, dad's song..." Karlie thinks as she focuses in on Taylor and for the first time actually notices her, from the blonde hair to the blue eyes and the soft feminine form that goes along with it, and it makes Karlie blush. 'Geez how did I not notice how amazing she is from the start?' And for the duration of the concert Karlie sits there focusing on Taylor's every move and watching her fingers move with precision and her eyes close as she's memorized every key and note that she has to play. This makes what could have been an endless concert flash past very quickly and all too soon the concert is over and Karlie is waiting outside for Taylor. She has no idea how to even fathom the idea of liking a girl, because it's never happened to her before but she's willing to try and see where it could lead so the moment that Taylor emerges Karlie takes her hand and laces her dainty fingers with her own equally feminie but longer ones and a simple smile shared between the two of them creates opportunities for what could come but for now Karlie settles with a simple, "that was amazing and I can't wait for the next one."
