It's My Wish

Taylor's P.O.V

"Karlie we have to go, we were supposed to be at Lily's almost twenty minutes ago." I call throughout my apartment as I walk through it. Karlie has been staying with me for the past week because her apartment is being sorted out for spiders and other things. "I know I'm coming." Karlie states emerging from the room that she's been in for the past week while buttoning her plaid shirt and tucking it into her black jeans. I can't help but look at her long legs. I've always been a sucker for legs no matter whether they are men's legs or women's legs. I look at Karlie as she continues buttoning and then tucking it in, she stops right next to me and looks at me. "Well, aren't you ready to go?" She questions as we start to leave the apartment. It doesn't take long for us to get from the apartment to the hotel that Lily is staying in with Dixie. We're supposed to only be babysitting for a few hours to allow time for Lily to be fitted for a runway show she has and the designer is only in New York for a day before the designer has to leave again.

We arrive at the hotel where the duo are staying and as I knock on the door it takes a little less than ten seconds for the door to be flung open and a brunette haired toddler to rush at me and hug onto my legs. "Aunty TayTay..." I look down and laugh at her as I run my fingers through her hair and as I go to walk in Karlie holds me back and bends down to address Dixie. "Hi my little modelling angel..." This makes Dixie immediately drop her arms from me and then hug Karlie like she's never gonna see her again. "Okay, I guess I don't matter." I state walking in and hugging Lily and sitting my stuff down. Karlie quickly scoops up Dixie and then walks in after me, "oh ignore Taylor, she's just jealous that little miss Dixie here loves me more than she loves her Aunty TayTay which isn't true in the slightest." Karlie states making me turn and look at her as she dumps Dixie over the back of the couch before tuning to look at me and as she happens to look at me, I feel my face blush at the compliment that she's paying me. "Oooh you're blushing Tay," Lily states as Dixie pops her head back up and smiles at me before sitting back down and focusing on the TV programme on screen.

Karlie's P.O.V

Dixie is really full of energy tonight more so than usual which makes me think that mine and Taylor's so called best friend Lily has fed Dixie up on chocolate and sugar for most of the day. Right now Dixie is spread out across Taylor and now snoozing or at the very least dozing. I know that we've had a full on night that's included playing Sugarland, which is one of Dixie's favourite games. One of the more interesting conversations we had tonight included Dixie questioning Taylor and I as to why we liked cats and dogs. I guess it's slightly confusing for her as to why both her godmother's or favourite non-Aunts love two different types of animal. I listened intently as Taylor talked about Olivia and Meredith and when she brought her phone out and showed pictures that was when Dixie practically climbed all over Taylor in order to get a better look at the images. Taylor even showed the video of her watching Olivia stand on her two paws on the edge of the bathtub and falling in, this resulted in at least ten minutes of giggles from Dixie as she watched more and more videos of Taylor's cats. But when she sees the videos I have of Joe running amok in St. Louis she just stares in wonder at it. It's pretty amazing to see her just immersed in the videos and images that I'm showing her that have Joe in them. "When can I see the doggy Aunty Kar?" she questioned earlier.
"I'm not sure sweetie, maybe next time I have Joe here in New York or when I see you in Nashville next time." Dixie nodded and was excited that she may one day be able to see Joe.

"Hey what are you thinking about?" Taylor questions as she runs her hands through Dixie's hair while looking at me. "Just thinking about getting Dixie a pet maybe for her birthday or something but I'm not entirely sure." I state as Taylor looks at me.
"Dog or cat?" Taylor questions looking at me, and I just have to roll my eyes,
"Look I guess whatever the child wants, maybe her amazing Aunty Kar will let her pick from the whole pet shop." I watch as Taylor groans but says no more and as she lets Dixie continue to sleep on her. Less than an hour later Lily arrives home and she bundles Dixie into her arms and takes her off to bed and Taylor and I head off to Taylor's apartment. Less than six months later Dixie celebrates her fourth birthday and I quickly decide that I will be the best Aunt ever so it's not exactly a tough decision that I have to decide what to get Dixie. Turning up I give Dixie her present of an IOU for the pet shop in Nashville but little do I know that Taylor is also thinking the same thing so when we turn up together both supporting IOU's I can't help but smile and laugh. But neither one of us is laughing when we take Dixie to the shop together and she selects a ginger fluffy cat and a large golden lab crossed with a golden retriever. She manages to select the biggest and most fluffiest animals and the moment we arrive home with Dixie, Lily only looks at us and laughs while saying, "you two are paying the vet bills." This makes me laugh and look at Taylor as everyone breaks out into huge laughs and Dixie only continues to play with her two newest pets Tator and Kar, apparently named after her two favourite aunts.

Hi readers,

So i've been away from the writing side of Wattpad for a decent 12 days (since my last update). I've been busy here since it's Summer holidays and i've just returned from a camping holiday with my family. But i've also been suffering with getting motivated to sit down and write. I've decided to write another full lenght story but i can't say for certain that it will be KAYLOR related from the start, it may start with Hiddleswift or Tayvin (most likely Tayvin) and then build into Kaylor but another option is to write a part two of Protecting Leah (which many of you know already) I've just got to make my mind up.

Hope you're all having a wonderful January and are enjoying 2017. So until next time.
