Kurt's P.O.V

"Karlie, come on. I know that it's tradition for you to be late. But to your own graduation?" I call up the stairs as I turn and walk back to the table to finish my breakfast. I watch out of the corner of my eye as my other three girls are sitting at the table too. The twins are back for Karlie's graduation and are spending time with us. It's strange to have four girls under our roof, sometimes five if Taylor is spending the night with Karlie. I can hear the familiar pitter patter of Karlie's feet as she comes downstairs. She greets us all with her smile that reminds me of sunshine, she's definitely the bright and sunny child of the four of them. "Are you eating?" I question when she walks around the corner,  "No, I'm so nervous dad." I smile at her.
"Are you nervous about graduating or talking to Taylor afterwards?" I question with a joking nature too, she smiles nervously and I quickly round up the other three and we're on our way to my second child's high school graduation.

The moment we arrive Karlie darts off to collect her graduation gown and cap and then meet in the homeroom for all the graduating seniors. "I'll see you later..." Karlie turns and nods before waving and rushing off. I turn and usher Kimby, Kariann and Kristine into the auditorium where the graduation is going to take place. We don't get in the door very far before Andrea Swift stands and greets me. I see her with her husband Scott and son Austin. "Hi guys, these are my three girls. You already know Kristine but these two are my youngest. Kimby and Karriann, the twins. They usually live with Tracey and only visit sometimes." Austin smiles at them and waves while Scott and Andrea nod, they've saved us four seats next to them so we can all sit and support our girls together. We all get settled and then the anxious wait starts until the graduation ceremony begins.

Taylor's P.O.V

I'm nervous, more nervous now than I've ever been in my life. Today marks the beginning of my life, and what I want more than anything is to have Karlie by my side. So now I'm pacing, as usual she's late and it makes me nervous. The only times that Karlie ever usually makes it to school on time is when she wakes up next to me. But as I turn and pace some more, my friend who have quickly become Karlie's friends grab me and force me to sit, I fight them and then I see a smile on Lily's face, I don't even have time to turn around before a pair of familiar arms latch around me. "Are you giving your friends a hard time?" Karlie questions as she places her lips near my ear. I smile and feel a familiar calm cross me. "No, I'm giving 'our' friends a hard time. I hope you don't mind." I state turning and looking up at her. "Of course not baby, but I need to get my gown. So I'll see you later," I turn back to Lily who hands me the package I picked up for Karlie. I hand it to her and she smiles. "This is why you're my favourite girl..." She states with a grin ripping into the package which includes her gown and cap. "I better be your only girl." Karlie stops what she's doing and looks at me with a grin. "Of course you are...I love you." I smile at her and lean up on my tippy toes and place a small kiss on the corner of her mouth. "I love you too."

As the next hour flies past I find myself sitting in some of the last ten rows of the graduation ceremony. I've already watched Karlie graduate and most of our friends have already gone as well. I'm the last of our friends to go up to graduate. When my row stands to begin walking forward I catch my parents and Austin watching me and it makes me smile. "Taylor Swift..." when my name is called I step forward, watching my footing so I don't face plant I carefully collect my scroll and step off the stage and follow the person in front of me so I can go back to my seat. I catch the eyes of all of my friends as I walk past and we all grin like mad women. Karlie blows me a kiss but I don't blow one back because I don't want to embarrass myself. Once I'm back in my seat I pay attention to the last few rows but as the ceremony draws to a close and the seniors are welcomed to stand and toss their caps in the air I can't help but let out a few tears. I'm sad that high school is over but I can't wait to start college.

As the ceremony is finished and we are free to leave Karlie grabs me and we make our way towards our families who are sitting together. The plan was for us to go to one house for dinner and the other's parents would join. Karlie often mentions how her dad isn't a good cook so I decide to offer for us to throw our dinner. "Karls, do you want to do dinner at mine?" Karlie looks down at me and nods, "seems like a safe idea." We giggle and make our way over, after I greet her sisters and hug her dad we all decide to split up and drive to our place where the adults can cook or hang and the rest of us can relax. Kristine excuses herself, she's got a first date with a cute guy from the coffee shop at her college and she doesn't want to bring him to meet us.

The night progresses quickly and we enjoy a lavish dinner of Chinese takeaway after the dinner got burnt. As we are all sitting in the lounge I quickly stand and move towards Karlie dragging her up to stand I kiss her lips and then fall down onto one knee. I slip my necklace off my neck and untangle the beautiful diamond ring that I brought three months ago when we were both accepted to Cornell University in Ithaca. "Taylor what are you..." I look up at Karlie and say,
"Babe, we've been through a lot since you moved here and we became friends on the first day. Meeting you has changed my life and I would like to change yours by being involved in it every day for the rest of our lives. Karlie Kloss, will you marry me?" I question looking up at her with large eyes.  "Of course I will. Oh gosh babe a thousand times yes." Karlie states looking at me and standing as I slip the ring onto her left ring finger. We meet in a kiss and then Karlie looks at her dad and nods, I watch as Kurt hands her an envelope and she turns back to me. "Taylor this is for you..." I take the envelope and tear it open, a check for fifteen thousand dollars greets me. "Wow! That's a lot of money..." Karlie smiles and looks down at the check,
"It is, it's for a deposit on our house that we're going to buy in Ithaca. This money is for our future Taylor and it's a future that we are now going to spend together." Karlie states holding up her finger. I nod and kiss her as our parents clap and cheer but I'm oblivious.
