A Very Important Night

Taylor's P.O.V

"I know, I can't wait to see you later either..." I state looking at the clock on the wall and thinking about how long I've got to get organized for later. "Okay babe, well they're calling for me. I'll call you when I leave and when I get to your rented apartment I'll come up, is that alright?" Karlie questions as I nod and say, "Yeah that sounds good. Love you, see you later..." I state.  "Love you too Tay," Karlie states as we hang up and I take a deep breath. Looking down at Meredith sitting on my feet, I reach down and stroke her along her spine making her arch her back and then meow at me, "what's up Mere? You gonna be okay staying alone tonight?" I question as she looks at me, I know that my cat can't actually say anything to me but it makes me feel not as crazy to be talking to her, I feel like she understands me. "I better start getting ready Mere, she's gonna be here soon." I state as Meredith sits down on the floor and closes her eyes obviously keen to go to sleep. I decide to go and shower.

Stepping into my room I take a look at the neatly made bed and the way that my room is tidy down to the clothes being folded and put away, shoes neatly stacked in the wardrobe. Walking towards the wardrobe I look at my selection and decide that tonight I'm wearing a skirt, I'm not going to wear my traditional jeans or a dress, I'm going with a skirt and shirt combination. 'Sounds like a good idea,' I think as I pull out one of my favourite sparkly purple skirts and a long sleeved white jersey. Setting them aside I gather one of my favourite bathrobes and head towards my bathroom, looking into the mirror I apply a facemask before running a bath. Selecting my favourite bubble bath which smells like raspberries I wait for the bath to reach the right temperature before sliding in leaving my robe on the hook behind the door.

The water feels heavenly as it hits my skin and the scent hits my nose. The feeling of relief washes over me and I start to feel butterflies in my stomach at the thought of my dinner tonight with Karlie. She's intending to cook for me at her apartment that she's got in New York while she's filming for Klossy Videos even though I know that Karlie can't cook non-vegan to save herself. As I glance up at the roof of the rented apartment and I let the relief of the city rush over me. I love New York, and the atmosphere of it, but I don't ever see myself living here at least not full time. Once Karlie is finished filming I know she intends to go to L.A again and to be honest I'm not sure where I'm going to go. I know I've got my tour to prepare in Nashville so possibly that but I'm not really sure, I guess I'll decide when I need to.

An hour later Karlie calls me and tells me she's leaving work, I look at the clock and glance at my robe. "Okay that's fine I'm about to get dressed, see you in thirty?" I question making Karlie confirm and agree with me, "yeah I may be longer, do you just want me to text you when I'm there?"
"Yeah for sure, then I'll walk down okay?" I question once more.
"Okay babe, that sounds good. Bring your party pants, okay." I nod and we quickly hang up and I continue to get ready. By the time Karlie texts I'm pulling on my high heels and walking down towards where I know that Karlie will be waiting for me. I'm still really excited despite the nerves starting to kick in, but I'm aware that it's completely normal.

Walking out and sitting in Karlie's car I smile, "hi baby," she states kissing me gently on the lips and placing her right hand on my thigh which is exposed to her. "Hi Karlie, how was the shoot?" I question looking down at her hand but smiling at her nonetheless. "It was great, last one for the day felt like forever." I look at her and she laughs, "not that I am anticipating a late start or anything," Karlie states looking at me with his loveable grin. "You're ridiculous Karlie and you know it," I state as she only grins and continues to drive us to her place. It only takes us ten minutes to get there and in the time it takes to drive us to Karlie's place and when we get there she tells me to wait and comes around and so I allow her the opportunity to let me out of the car. She takes my hand and pulls me towards him and then pushes me against the car locking me in with her hips. I giggle at her as she leans in and peppers kisses up and down my neck, the sensation between my legs increases and although it's happened before while I've been with Karlie it makes me nervous. "What's wrong baby?" Karlie questions I look at her and then I say, "well I haven't been exactly honest with you..."
"What do you mean baby?" Karlie questions taking my hand and leading me to the lounge where we sit on the couch and she holds my hand gently.

I take a deep breath, "I've never done this before," I state nervously,
"Done what?" She questions as I gesture between her and I and all of a sudden her eyes light up and it seems as though it hits her, "are you serious? You're 27 though," she states making me stare back at her shocked and she quickly says, "oh god don't take it that way babe. I'm just shocked, you're amazing and I guess it just shocks me that you've never been with anyone because I find you amazing..." she states making me blush and feel all the love all at once as she moves closer to me and leans into my face. "You're making me blush Karlie." I state covering my face but it doesn't last long as Karlie pulls my hands away from me and kisses me gently, "listen Taylor. We don't have to do this, we will only ever do the things that you want to do okay baby, that's never going to change." Karlie states as she looks at me and I can see the tenderness in her eyes and that makes me reach down and take her hands. "I know that you love me and that you'd never do anything to hurt me and that's why I want this Karlie. I love you so much and I just want this, you, me us. Everything all in. I want to try it all with you." I state nervously as she says, "Are you sure, you have to be one hundred percent in." I nod, and she grins as she leans in and kisses me, but I pull back and say, "I'd rather go to the bedroom." She smiles and lifts me up to kiss me before leading me to her green bedroom and kissing me before we both lie back on the bed.
