Everything Went Black

-Chris's POV-

I shot up awake to the wind slamming the bedroom door shut,
I frowned and looked around the dark bedroom looking at the clock saying, 3am,
I turned to see a empty bed,
I sat up immediately and got out of bed,
"Maddy?"
Searched all of upstairs but she was gone,

Chris had that gut feeling that every parent has from losing their child,
Well most of them,

He came over with a cold sweat, and the feeling of dread that something terrible has happened,
It was like a fear, he had no idea what he was gonna see when reaching the bottom of the stairs,
He could be lying cold of the floor from falling down the stairs, it was dark out so it was fairly possible for a child to trip,
She could be missing, smashed glass everywhere, someone could have stolen her, a kidnapper, a child molester her mother or even her boyfriend even though he is in jail, the police force here are shit anyways,
Or she could have ran away herself,
Either way, Chris was in a blind panic.
He slowly crept down the stairs,
His skin was washed over with goosebumps,
And the pupils of his eyes had doubled in size,
His palms were sweaty and his knees were shaky,

"M..Maddy? Where are you come on come out,"

He headed to the kitchen and found the back door to be open,
'That would explain the draft slamming the door' he thought,
He was great full it was not the front door that was open,
He dreaded her being put on the streets,

-Chris's POV-

I ran out of the house and out into the large back garden,
It was a large space of grass surrounded by trees, like my own mini Forrest,
"Maddy?!" I yelled,
Tear formed in my eyes,
As I turned in circles, taking a dizzy turn,
The world around me spinning,
I began to hyperventilate and fell to my knees running my hands though my hair,
Tears trickled down my cheek,
I've lost her.
I heard a branch snap and I shot us wiping my tears,
I ran to the direction,
I then saw her, she was up on a tree,
"Maddy?! Maddy get down from there!"
"I know I twying"
She tried stepping down a branch but slipped and went over her ankle making her cry out.
"In fact no stay there I am coming to get you" I yelled beginning to climb,
"I'm sowwy I'm sowwy I'm sowwy" she kept repeating petrified crying in pain,
"It's alright sweetie just stay still I've got you" I said climbing up,
I stopped and tried to reach for a higher branch but it snapped making Maddy fall and squeal.
"Fuck" I cussed falling back to the ground,
Madelyn now hanging from a branch by her hands, her legs dangling,
"Chwis my arms hurt I can't hold on" she cried,
"Right I want you to let go"
She shook her head no,
"Maddy I'll catch you"
"I.. I can't"
"Maddy please, trust me darling"
She sobbed and let go,
She fell from the sky and I caught her resulting me falling backwards hitting my head,
Everything went black before I even closed my eyes.

Hey guys,
I am sorry i didn't update yesterday,
I have the cold and my nose is running like a tap and it's hard to breath,
I feel like I have the lungs of a 80 year old smoker,
It's awful, plus I'm on study leave so the days are long and boring and I am tired at nights,
Anyways,
I have noticed this story isn't as popular as my other stores but that's okay, I dint really mind, as long as the people reading like it that's all I care about,
I hope you are doing okay,
