-4 years later-

"Maddy! Darling your gonna be late it's your first Christmas dance!" Chris yelled from the bottom of the stairs,
There was no response,
"Honey, listen, floss is gonna be here soon"
"Dad, I'm not going"
Chris frowned and entered the bedroom seeing Maddy in her gothic little dress, sitting in front of the mirror sadly.
"What's wrong baby, you look great"
She shook her head and sighed
"No, no I don't,"
"Well we need to get you a pair of glasses then" he said putting his large hands on her little shoulders, standing behind her,
He kissed the top of her head,
"Cause I think you look beautiful"
"Dad.. Can you help me"
Chris smiled and took the hair brush and combed through her long soft hair,
"You want a little makeup"
"Yes please"
Chris eagerly got some eyeshadow and applied some dark colours,
"But what about foundation?" She frowned,
"Your skin is beautiful just the way it is, it is soft and fragile and if we did anything to it, it would just ruin it, besides, your skin is clear as the sky, I'm jealous" Chris smiled,
Chris put some hair spray in her hair and she was perfect,
His little girl who was now eleven was about to attend her first ever Christmas dance,
Chris smiled at the sight,
"Say cheese" he said taking a photo of her,

-Chris's POV-

We then stopped hearing the door bell ring,
I opened up to see Linda brown with floss standing on the porch,
"Okay, be good, bye floss, remember to get a lift home with Chris,"
"Okay bye Linda"

Floss smiled and entered the house,
"Okay you two get in close, and say cheese"
"Cheese!" They both smiled giving me the peace sign,
I laughed and put the camera down,
"Any boyfriends tonight then?" I joked as I got in the car,
"Pfft no" they both replied at the same time,
I chuckled
I dropped them off,
"Okay girls I'll pick you guys up at 10pm, Maddy you have my phone number so call me if you wanna go home early or whatever, you have your inhaler in your bag okay, I love you"
"Love you too daddy" she smiled kissing my cheek and hopping out the car,
"Bye bye Mr C see you soon!"
"Bye floss!"

Maddy walked into the school and into the main hall,
They both gulped,
The place was packed with seniors and basically everyone in the school was there,
"Let's g-go and get a drink huh? Come on you'll be fine" smiled floss,
We both got a cup of fruit punch,
We made sure we got a cup before one of the seniors put alcohol in it,
I took a sip of my drink and I turned round for one second and floss was no where to be seen,
I frowned and looked around,
One of the seniors pushed into me making me spill my drink all over my dress,
I gulped and looked up at them,
The guy laughed and pushed me back into the floors
"Get out of the way stupid baby"
I got up and wiped down my dress,
I saw my class year, I smiled, I'll stand with them,
They are bound to be nice to me, I'm the same age as them,
I stood in the group circle as they talked about each other's dresses,
"Yes yes, I love your dress, that shade of pink goes so well with your Blonde hair" said one girl,
"Thankyou and oh.. Hey Madelyn"
"Hello" I smiled,
"Your dress is uhh, interesting?"
"Are you kidding, it's ugly, dark purple? What is it a witch costume?" Said one girl,
I looked at my dress sadly,
"Did your dead grandma make it for you or did the dress maker machine like explore cause that colour is vile"
"I..it's dark cause my daddy is gothic"
"Well your dad must be really ugly then"
"Yeah I saw him he wears makeup, what a faggot"
"H..he's not shut up!"
"Is her gay? I haven't seen your mother around"
"With all those peircings he probably beats his wife"
"Wow you poor ugly thing.," they said ganging up on me,ê
"Shut up!" I yelled running out of the hall,
I walked into the girls bathroom,
It was thankfully empty, and messed up from graffiti and vandalism,
The tap was left on and a overflowing sink,
There was a mirror at the end of the bathroom.
I sighed and went into the cubical,
I sat on the toilet seat and out my hands through my hair,
I looked on my phone and saw Chwis's contact on my phone,
I was about to press the green button but I couldn't,
My eyes watered and I began to cry silently,
I bit my hand roughly so my sobs wouldn't bounce round and echo through the room.
I got out or the toilet and I acid envy slipped on the wet floor, elbowing the wall mirror making it smash,
I covered my mouth
"F..fuck" I whispered trying to pick to the class,
I kneeled down and tried to clear up but I ended up cutting my arms in the process, and my hands dropped with blood,
I put the bloody shattered mirror in the bin,
I wiped my forehead with stress and lopped myself in the corner of the floor, my head rested in the sink.
