This moment

-Chris's POV-

I was sleeping happily with Madelyn curled up next to me when I began to turn over taking a glance at the small Christmas decoration across the room.
My smile faded.
Christmas Eve,
Shit..
I jumped out of bed and rushed downstairs.
I hung up the stockings, lay out the gifts by the fireplace.
I looked over at the plate of cookies and carrot sticks and a glass of milk that me and Maddy left out before.
I took a bite out of the cookie and munched on the carrot.
I drank the almond milk and turned the Christmas to lights on.
3am, I got time.
Everything was perfect.
I headed back upstairs and off to bed.

I smiled in my sleep and turned over to feel a bunch of fluff in my face.
I frowned and sneezed.
My eyes flickered open to me in an empty bed with banshee .
I yawned and sat up in my bed.
I always love waking up on Christmas morning with my little girl- wait where's Madelyn.
I got out of bed and noticed her in the bathroom looking in the mirror fixing her hat on top of her head.
I kneeled done next to her and wrapped my arm round her shoulders.
"You know, we need a pretty girl like you in one of our photo shoots"
She looked down.
"but most of my hair is missing"
"That won't change a thing" I said kissing her cheek.
She smiled blushing.
"What kind of photo shoot"
"Well we need a lot of fake blood and how about a dead ballet"
"Yes yes!"
I chuckled
"Sounds good now how about we go downstairs and see if Santa has been"
She hugged me tight,
"Dad?"
"Yeah"
"Even though i is sick will we still have a fun year"
"Nothing  is gonna stop us my sunshine. Nothing"
"It's gonna be hard though isn't it. The therapy is sore"
"You gotta be strong my darling. I will help you get though it "
She kissed my lips and skipped out the bathroom.
"Can we look downstairs now"
"One second I'll get my camera, I wanna treasure this moment"

Hey guys
This is a filler chapter. I am not sure if the third section of the story will be next chapter or the chapter after but it will come.
Anyways. I should probably sleep cause I am going to universal studios Orlando tomorrow so I am looking forward to that,
