Dont leave me

-Chris's POV-

I fell forward and banged my head in what felt like a cold metal pole,
"Come on let's strap him up"
"It's okay he is awake,"
I opened my eyes to see myself sitting at the side of a moving ambulance,
Maddy in the bed right in front of me.
Her eyes were now closed and she still wasn't breathing,
The road was bumpy so hitting our heads on the side of the van was normal,
Vinny rubbed my arm to calm me down,
"She will be fine Chris, she is a little fighter,"
"I just wanna know what is wrong" I sniffled holding her cold hand,
"How long till we are at the hospital?" I asked
"  five minutes I would say"
She whimpered and squeezed my hand,
I kissed her hand as a tear ran down my cheek,
I just want to see her beautiful smile and laugh again.

"Right we are just about ther- said the driver being cut off by Maddy beggining to shake and grieve onto the side poles on the bed,
"Whoah whoah what's going on" said Vinny panicking standing up,
"sir no standing in the moving vehicle-
"Oh my god Maddy no!" I yelled beginning to cry,
She began to fall into a full on fit,
I held her shoulders down and began to full on sob over her,
"S..stop please, don't leave me" I sobbed not caring that I looked ugly when I cried,
They rushed her out of the van and took her into the hospital.
They took her in the ward leaving me and vinny to be stranded in the hospital corridor.
I turned my head away from the room and rested it on vinny's shoulder and cried,
"I'm sorry Chris I really am "
"For what Vinny you didn't do anything" I said as we both sat down on the uncomfortable metal chairs.
"It took me so long to call 911 if it wasn't for me this wouldn't have happened"
I put my hand on his knee,
"It was a shock to me too, if it wasn't for you, I would be alone through all this, you were there to calm me in that ambulance"
"That's what best mates are for what can I say"
I smiled and wiped my tears.
"Mr Cerulli your the father right?"
"Yeah"
"Okay good, I would recommend you changeling her name to yours I had to ask her who you were"
"Okay, so she is awake can I go see her"
"First I need to speak with you"
I gulped, and  brung me into his office.

"asthma?! Are you fucking kidding?!"
"Sir calm down it's not as bad as what I could have been,"
"Like what"
"Well she could have had lung cancer or anything"
I sighed
"She had a asthma attack, we have prescribed inhalers and allergy tablets incase she is allergic to pollen from the flowers, it can irritate the lungs, she should be okay for now, she needs to rest"
"Do you know what caused it"
"Asthma can be caused by many things Chris, such as being trapped in a damp home, being around cigarette smoke often, being in the cold. Being born prematurely or early. Or it's just in her genes bug she has no record of having it before"
I nodded,
"Can I go see her?"
"Yes right this way,"

I opened the door,
She lay in the bed all wired up with a little oxygen mask,
" hey there princess," I whispered tucking her hair behind her ear
Her eyes stayed weakly open as she smiled,
"Chwis" she smiled weakly,
"That's right I'm here" I said sitting on the edge of the bed holding her little hand that had a drip on it.
" it was so scawy Chwis, but now your here to keep me safe right?"
"You were ever so brave baby" I said kissing her forehead
"Chwis?"
"Yeah?"
"Can we cuddle?"
I smiled as she shuffled over,
She lay her head on my chest,
She tried to take the mask off,
"Keep that on Maddy"
"It's itchy"
"I know but just for a little while I don't want you to hurting no more"
"Okay"
"Chwis can we stay here for a bit"
"Yeah why you hurting"
"No it's just I am really tired"
"oh okay sleep for me baby, you can sleep as long as you want you earned it"
"What did I earn?"
"for staying with me and not leaving me" I said
" I won't" she smiled kissing my cheek,
"Is there room for one more?" Asked Vinny,
"Oh great,"
"Chwis that's not nice, hop on Vinny"
"Ha ha Yasss" said Vinny spooning me.
I made a awkward face but rolled with it,
We were a Chris and Maddy and Vinny sandwich and that's o fucking Kay

I am so fucking tired though
Like insanely it's so weird.
I am getting piercings tomorrow,

Anyways sorry o didn't update last night
I pulled all my muscles up my back and arms from skateboarding and my mum said that I needed to rest up cause she said I looked exhausted,
It was my birthday yesterday but I was doing a lot of school work.
My mum literally grabbed my work and took it away and said to me,
You need rest, be kind to yourself and get some sleep.
And I was like but I have a chapter to write but she wouldn't let me and told me to get to bed so I did.
So that's why o didn't update.
