-Chris's POV-
"Maddy!"
"Yes?"
"Come on get your shoes and coat on your going to ghosts!" I said putting on my beanie,
"It's a whittle late tho it's almost lunch time"
"I know I know I just had second thoughts alright," I said kneeling down to her tying her shoes.
She looked down sadly,
I felt bad for not spending Saturday with her but I needed to go back and see Laura,
And Hannah, I need to make sure she is okay as from last time didn't end well,
"Look, how about I make it up to you"
She looked up at me
"Tomorrow how about me and you go to the beach"
"But I thought you hated the beach, plus the sun sucks"
I could tell she was mine.
"Good I was hoping you'd say that, I just said the beach cause I didn't know what little girls liked nowadays"
"Pfft, yuck screw the beach!"
"Okay,fine, there is this really nice park up by the lake how about we go there then"
She smiled and kissed my cheek
"Otay"
"I'll get you tacos on the way home"
She smiled and nodded,

I dropped Maddy off and drove back to the hospital to see Laura,
I entered the hospital and saw Hannah sitting on the swing,
" good day Chris"  she said calmly sitting on the rusty swing,
"Hi" I sighed
"Look I'm sorry I ignored you I-
"It was alright, you were upset I heard about the argument, I apologise for eavesdropping on you, but not a lot seems to happen here"
"That is alright" I smiled
,"so I am guessing you are here to make things right yes?"
"Yeah I said some things that I wish I never said,"
"People say stupid things when they are angry"
"Yeah your right"
"It's strange, I have been seeing her outside more often than usual"
"what do you mean?"
"she never goes out but she has been snooping around here looking through my things"
She said posting to a wooden box at the side of the park,
Which was filled with a old football. And a rope,
"she would talk to herself, I would think she was talking to me"
I frowned and felt nervousness in my stomach,
"She missed her drugs. She needed them,moulding live without them she said"
I swallowed feeling bad on forcing to go cold turkey
"But it's weird, I think she stole my skipping rope"

-maddy's POV-

I was playing at the park with ghost sitting on the bench,
I stood on the top of the climbing frame looking over at another family, a hair, and her mother,
They were both smiling and laughing and playing together,
Wike a family,
I bit the inside of my mouth as I stepped backwards,
Tears forming in my eyes,
I stepped back and almost fell off the climbing frame but ghost caught me.
"Maddy darling what's wrong are you hurt?"

-ghosts POV-
"I want mom"
"W..what?"
"I want to see my mother"
"But Chris told me-
"Please ghost please I really want to see her" she began to cry,
I shook my head no.
But then sighed and took her hand
"Twenty minutes tops"
