Stranger from the outside

-Chris's POV-

I frowned,
"Before you go, I might never see you again"
"Yeah?"
"C..can you tuck me in"
I got shivers, this girl has been alone in this place and I'm the only one that she has, and I barely know the girl
Just a stranger from the outside.
"Of course" I smiled letting out my hand taking her dirty cold one in my big one.
"It is strange to be treated nicely to"
"You deserve it in my eyes, you seem like a really nice kid"
"Thankyou" she said still no emotion in her voice as usual.
She reminds me of Luna love good from Harry Potter, her high pitch voice strongly cheerful yet at the same time, emotionless.
Probably that's what the effects are from being brought up in this place.
I she took me upstairs to her room.
It was smaller than Laura's room,
But had more of a chill to it.
"Laura is lucky, she gets heating in her building, this one has non, it broke down years ago."
I gulped,
She lay in her bed and I kneeled to her,
I held her little hand
I put my hand over her forehead, she was freezing,
I bit my lip and looked over across the room,
I grabbed one of the curtains and put it over the quilt to keep her warm
"Laura, it's funny, she reminds me of my mommy"
"Oh?"

-ghosts POV-

"Do you know where your going Maddy?"  I said worriedly getting out of the car, her walking ahead,
"I will asked teh reception where she stays"
I nodded and ran to her trying to catch up, looking Around this awful looking place,
Damn Chris was right,
"Hello do you know where Laura marsh stays?"

I blanked out as she asked where she stayed and looked round the area,
"Dis way" said Maddy skipping off,
"Wai- Maddy wait!" I yelled running after her,
She turned the corner and through the footpath through the woods.
I saw the rows of run down apartment buildings.
And a small rusty park in the centre,
I found myself alone,
Maddy out of sight,
"Shit I lost her.." I cussed

-Chris's POV-
"W..why does she remind you of your mom?"
"Before she died,"
"I took away her supply of pills"
My eyes widened
"She couldn't take it, so she left"
"How?"
"She stole one of my skipping ropes"

Sorry for the cliffhanger ahhhh
I am watching the girl with the dragon tattoo for the first time
I have read about half of the first book,
I couldn't wait any longer so I am watching it
I recomend the books they are amazing,
I also drew lisbeth salander from the story,
