-Chris's POV-

I ran back to the house,
I opened the door to see Madelyn sitting on the stairs,
Her head rested against the banister, her barely able to keep her eyes open,
I closed the door and sat next to her,
I rubbed her little back and took her hand and held it,
She yawned,
"You okay?"
She looked up at me sadly,
"He's gone I promise, I uhh made dinner, pasta"
She nodded and walked to the table,
I served us both plates and we ate in silence,
Madelyn picked at her food with her fork silently,
I swallowed and looked at her concerned,
"You feeling okay?"
"I'm not hungry" she whispered,
I looked at her sadly,
"It's not just that though Madelyn, is it" I said
"May I be excused?"
She got up and left the table going up stairs,

I was left in silence at the table,
I shook my head and got up to follow her
I heard her cry in the bathroom.
I opened the door,
She turned round and stood still as she cried,
"Come here" I said opening my arms
She hugged me and I sat her on my lap,
"Shh shh calm Maddy calm" I said kissing her cheek,
"Now tell me, what's wrong come on tell Chris what's wrong, he didn't hurt uh did he?"
"H..he kissed my neck and it hurted" she sniffled,
"Can I see?"
She looked down,
"Otay,"
I took off her little cardigan and saw lots of hickeys on her neck,
"Oh god" I whispered to myself,
"It make me feel dirty and disgusting" she said beggining to cry again,
"It's not your fault baby, it never will be, please don't feel that way"
"I never want a boyfwiend ever!" She said angrily
" you have your whole life ahead of you to figure that one out" I said to her handing her some tissue,
"Your right"
"So were you really not hungry before or not?"
"No, I just didn't want you to see me cwy"
I let out a sharp breath in amusement,
Wow she is more like me than I thought.
"Well, good cause I wanted your opinion on my cooking" I smiled bending over for her to jump on my back,
"Hmm well, would say a four out of ten" she said spreading her arms out pretending to be a plane,
"A four?! Can't you give your old man a little slack" I joked,
"Your not old and I was just kidding Chwis it's delicious"
"That's my girl,"
We finished our dinner and we both sat awkwardly,
"I wish I made more, I'm still hungry" I said,
" me too"
"Your fancy a pudding?
"Yup!"
"How about we make some cheese cake!"
"I wike cheese cake"
"Every tried Nutella cheese cake?"
She shook her head,
"It tastes the best"
"Cool!"

-Martin's POV-
"Scranton's county jail,"
"Hello can I speak to John Mathews please "
"Alright I transfer you through"

"Hello?"
"John it's me Martin"
"Did you get her"
"No I tried I swear, saw the bitch at the gas station and followed her home,"
"Damnit did you get anywhere"
"Chest grab, couple of neck kisses, her phsyco dad beat the shit out of me, you better pay me for this John"
"You ain't getting payed shit until I know that girl has been dealt with, I wanna scar her, for life. No family has ever gotten out of this alive, all my last wives and their kids have all killed themselves, this little bitch is taking her time,"

"So you want her to kill herself"
"Why of course"
"And then what?"
"Then they will be out of my hair and I move onto the next family, simple, get them drugged up, use them for sex and then kill them or they kill themselves"
I gulped,
"Have you got the money yet?" Asked John,
"I'm working on it"
" listen get me the fuck out of here, pay the bail please"
"I'll try"

-Chris's POV-

"Okay now sprinkle the Oreos on top" I smiled
"I'll try"
She did so and I sliced it up,
We both got a spoonful,
"Okay one two three"
We both took a bite,
"Mmmm" we both smiled
"Your a good cook Chwis" she smiled patting me on the head,
"Ha ha you should see my BBQs"
"Now how about a movie marathon"
"Yes!"
