-Madelyn's POV-
I left swiftly out of the doctors teary eyed,
I wiped the tears off my cheeks and looked over at the pet store,
There was a small three legged sausage dog at the window, bouncing around with excitement, it contrasted with the way I was feeling and gave me a sense of happiness,
I crossed the road and put my hand on the glass window,
I let out a small smile, his little shiny eyes looking up at me, his tail wagging.
I giggled,
"I see yah I see yah"
I decided to go into the store and take a look.

I left the store with a smile on my face,
I wasn't gonna give the time I got For granted.
I headed home and got in the house,
Chris sat up immediately and hugged me tight,
"How was it, you've been crying what's happening"
"I have an operation on the 21st" I gave him a smile,
"Well atleast you get to do your performance then hmm"
I gave him a fake smile and nodded,
"I don't have long left dad" I said biting down on my lip,
"What?" He let out a breathe,
"Two months" I said letting s tear fall,
He collapsed into bundles of tears, sobbing into his hands,
"We're gonna make christmas the most memorable one you've ever seen" he whimpered
"I'm sorry dad" I cried,
He bring me into a tight grasp.
"Dad?"
"Hmm?"
"Can we visit my mum"
"Of course we can my love"
"Can we get her, her favourite flowers,"
"Of course of course"
I gripped the back of his shirt as more tears fell down my cheeks,
"I love you" I whispered.
