Miss-judged

They were pushed,
Shoved and slammed into walls.
Chris kept his strong arms round Maddy for protection as his head was being hit buy the angry mob,
Maddy squeezed his hand in fear but kept her hood up.
It began to thunder and our down with rain,
Motionless was being ripped to shreds.
It had gotten so bad to the point where the band actually had fear for their own lives.
They had experienced many of these incidents before on past tours.
They crashed their van and broke vinny's leg once,
Ghost had a knife to his throat by a phsyco fan.
And even during one of their sets back when they were a smaller band,
A man ran in with a gun and threatened to shoot everyone in the building.
But those were more encounters.
They never were physically hurt, well, apart from Vinny.
But at this point they were all getting beaten and trampled by hundreds of people.
'Leave you sinners!'
'You don't belong here!'
'You should be burned for your doing!'
'Crucify the spawn!'
That one broke Chris into a million pieces,
Maddy was suddenly grabbed by a man and lifted up.
She screamed and yelled,
Chris tried to get him off of her,
But Chris's skinny figure wouldn't budge this buff man.
So he had to use force,
With no warning Chris knocked the man clean out with his fist and kicked his leg,
Maddy never moved but Chris picked her up and placed her over his shoulder,
They reached the entrance.
They got inside hearing the muffled shouting from the crowd outside,
Chris placed down Maddy but she ran to ghost.

-Chris's POV-
We all gasped for breath and sat in the lobby floor.
Ghost hugged Maddy as she looked back at me.
She was some what scared of me.
I knew exactly why.
She didn't need to see that.

All the guys left to begin to set up the instrument to begin to practice the first song.
I kneeled to Maddy and took both of her shaken hands,
Her hair was dripping wet,
"Wait in the waiting room okay, you have your DS, and your snacks and the bathroom is right there okay?"
She nodded quietly
I kissed her forehead and left to record.

"O..okay so like this" said ghost
"yes perfect now all we need is the drums wait- where's Vinny"
"He is always wandering around" Ryan said rolling his eyes,
"I'll go look of him" I sighed
I headed out and down the corridor
"Hey Maddy baby you haven't seen Vinny have you?-
"Maddy?!"
She was gone, fuck not this again,
I checked the toilets, the kitchen area, the storage room,
I looked outside the window seeing the crowd head back
I gulped, they don't have her r..right,
"Maddy!! Madelyn!!!!!!"
I ran round the bulding till I barged into the boys bathroom.
"Vinny what the actual fuck-
Then I noticed what was going on.
Maddy sat up on the sink her leggings rolled up while Vinny was putting band aids in her little grazed knees
Maddy looked down sadly,
"Sorry Chris, I was getting a drink when I saw the little one trying to dab the wet paper towel on her knees so I decided to fix her up for ya sorry dawg, shit homie I thought you were gonna hit me or somthing, am I needed?"
"Yeah the guys need you to play  sequence A"
"  I got you man I got you, Seeya M"
"Bye"

It wasn't until late at night when we finished up with the song.
I left the studio room last switching off all the lights and everything.
I saw Maddy passed out asleep on the plastic chairs,
I sighed and kneeled to her gathering all the sweet and snack wrappers that she ate.
It was a long day for her and I kinda feel bad for her.
I'll make it up to her,
I picked her up and headed outside into the cold,
She awoke to the coldness and when she realised she was outside she gasped and clung to my shirt,
I chuckled
"It's alright, look we are safe, all alone, no one is gonna hurt you" I said walking down the dark street to the van
"What time is it?"
"Way past your bedtime"
"I have a bedtime?"
I chuckled
"it's 12:15am"
"Is dat where the werewolves go awoooooooo!!!!" She yelled pointing to the moon,
"Shh baby, you don't wanna wake everyone up they are trying to sleep"
"Oh, sorry everyone who is trying to sleep!!!!" She yelled in the street.
I rolled my eyes and got into the van,
Vinny drove  off.
"Get some sleep baby" I whispered to her,
"She curled up into my chest and closed her eyes,
"Hey Vinny"
"Yo?"
"I uhh I'm sorry about before I guess I misjudged you"
"Man just cause I love my gangsta rap don't mean i ain't no care bear"
"It was really nice what you did back there,"
"Thanks man, I do try"
"Yeah too hard with that fake gangster accent of yours" I mumbled,
"It is not fake!"
"Oh my god Vinny shut your ass up" mumbled Ricky sleeping.
I smiled as he kept driving
"Chwis?" Said Maddy weakly,
"Hmm?"
"Can I lay down?"
I looked next to me to see ghost asleep, his head rested on Ryan's shoulder, and Ryan's head rested on Ricky's.
"Yeah o don't think ghost will mind go ahead"
"Thankyou" she said resting her head on ghost's lap and her legs on mine,
It got to our stop and we left  the van.
Maddy was still passed out when I carried her to the house,
I took her straight upstairs and changed her into some pyjamas being careful not to tug on her bandaids cause that shit stings if you rip it off by accident.
Child hood nightmares right there,
I kissed her hand softly and got into bed turning off the light.
I sighed and got comfy,
"Chwis?"
"Yeah?"
"I wuv you"
I hugged her close
"I love you too Madelyn."
