-maddy's POV-
I watched as ghost left and noticed Chwis lying on the couch fast asleep,
I smiled and sat next to him,
I then hesitated and hugged his torso,
He woke up and wrapped his arms round me,
"Sorry Maddy I uhh must have passed out,
"It's okay Chwis get some rest,I don't  need dinner tonight"
"Oh no you need something to eat-
Said Chwis getting up,
"No Chwis sweep, you look exhausted"
He nodded and lay back,
I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes also.

I woke to thunder and the rain hitting the window,
It was Saturday and we must have slept all day cause it was 1 in the afternoon.
Chwis was still sleeping,
I smiled at that cause he did seem really tired,
Having me as a child must be hard work so I don't blame him.
Chwis sat up and rubbed his eyes as i stood at the window watching the rain fall from the grey sky.
I heard a knock at the door,
I opened it up to see floss standing in the rain,
Her ginger hair soaked,
She stood in a white dress shivering,
"Floss?"
"S..sorry I wasn't there yesterday, just some stuff happened at the orphanage, I just came to say sorry"
Chwis came to the door,
"Floss you can come in sweetie I'll make some tea"
Floss smiled and stepped inside.
Chwis went to the kitchen and floss stood tense,
I noticed bruises on her arms,
I frowned and tilted my head,
"Why are there bru-
"Here's the tea girls,"
Chwis also noticed the black and blue marks on her pale little arms,
I looked up at Chwis with a sad expression,
Chris put his arm in floss's shoulder,

-Chris's POV-
"Why don't you uhh, stay for a sleep over"
Maddy and floss's faces both lit up as they smiled at each other,
"I'll set up the double bed in the attic and you two can share it" I smiled,
"You sure that's okay sir"
"Of course,"
"Why don't you take a shower and you can borrow some of maddy's clothes okay, I'll make some lunch and you two can have girly time together how does that sound" I smiled
They both nodded and said Thankyou,
-maddy's POV-

We both ran upstairs,
"Otay lets go to the bathroom"
I tunes on the shower and saw floss take off her dress,
She stood naked, her legs were all bruised and cut up,
"I'll get one too"
"Let's share?"
"Otay"
I turned on the shower and we both stepped in,
We both giggled and played with the shampoo,
We got out and got into our pyjamas,
"Som sorry I wasn't there yesterday Maddy, I got in a fight with one of the girls in the care home and I got grounded, that's all"
"Why were you fighting?"
"They were just making fun of me, cause I go to your school"
I hugged her tightly,
"I is sowwy"
"It's okay" I chuckled
"How was school for you Anyways"
I just shrugged and sat up,
"Please tell me? "
I sighed and lifted my shirt,
Floss gasped,
"They bullied me, and pushed me, and they broke my DS"
"Lie down" said floss making me lie in my side,
She looked at my bruise then kissed it,
"That tickles" I giggled,
She did also ,
She kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly,
"I won't let them near you, not my best friend," she said,
I hugged back and kissed her cheek,
"Wanna watch a movie"
"Yeah"
I put on Snow White and we both snuggled into each other as we watched,
"It's like from rammstein the song sonne." Said floss,
"Yep"
" you like rammstien?," i asked

"I might be weird but I'm not stupid, I have a taste for good music"
I smiled, "wow atleast I'm not the only one my age"
We both lay on our stomachs,
Our chins in the bottom of the bed, feet in the air as we talked about girl stuff
"-ever wore lipstick"
"One time when uncle ghost did makeup"
"That's a cool name,my our family is so cool"
I sighed,
"yeah well your the first to see it that way, the Christian community hates us, brung down the house, beat me and Chwis up,"
"Close minded people, there are a lot of them here"
I sighed and yawned resting my head on her shoulder,
"Yeah, it's pretty sad"
"Maddy?"
"Hmm?" I said with my eyes closed,
Floss's head rested on mine,
"Stay with me okay?"
"Always"
We both fell asleep next to each other,
