-maddy's POV-

I sighed and smiled as I heard birds tweeting from outside,
I opened my eyes to see floss fast asleep,
My head rested on her chest,
I felt her play with my hair,
"Your hair is fluffy" said floss out of the blue,
"Shut up" I giggled sitting up
"I has to go home today" said floss,
"Yeah" i said sadly
She smiled and nudged me, "I'll see you on Monday though"
"Yes, Good, no one makes fun when I'm not alone"
"I'm sorry about that, If I knew I still would have-
"No, your were hurting, you don't have to come because of me"
"Still my best friend though"
"As are you"
"Hey can we go to the park together before I go home?"
"I'll ask Chwis"

"There you are girls, bacon and eggs"
"Thankyou mistahh" smiled floss,
"Thank you daddy"
We both tucked in and then got dressed,
"Hey mister, can me and Maddy play at the park just down the road" said floss
"Yes sure just look after Maddy for me and make sure your both safe when crossing the roads" said Chwis,
"I will take care of her don't worry,"
Chwis smiled and kissed my forehead and we both left the house and off to the park,

We both got on the large swing and we both pushed it together,
"Weeee!!!" Floss yelled,
"Ha ha! Higher higher!"
We jumped off and climbed to the top of the climbing frame,
I smiled and looked out into the sun set,
"The sky is so pretty, the clouds is like pink candy floss"
"It is its wike-
I stopped when I saw the man at the bottom of the park staring at us both.
The man that gave me the hickeys, the man that tried to rape-
"Maddy? Maddy you okay what's wrong?" Said floss looking at me with concern,
I stood paralysed, tears pricked my eyes,
"Maddy? No no don't cry what's the matter" said floss rubbing my back,
I shakily looked at her,
She frowned and hugged me tightly,
"Your shaking loads why are you shaking"
She looked out and noticed why I was in such a state,
"Do you know that guy?"
I nodded,
I looked back and he was gone,
My breath hitched,
"Hey there beautiful see you brung a friend"
I looked down to see the man below our feet,
I screamed in a panic state,
"Get away!"
the man grinned and then grinned and climbed up onto the climbing frame,
I ran for it but he grabbed floss's leg,
Floss squealed and began hitting him to get off,
He put his hand up floss's skirt but I ran up to him and kicked him in the face,
The man fell off the ladder and I grabbed floss's hand and we ran for it,
We got round the corner and be both gasped for breath,
Our heads resting on each other's shoulders,
Our sweaty cheeks against each other,
"Are you okay?"
Floss nodded,
"Did he touch you"
She nodded again,
Tears streamed down floss's cheeks,
"It's otay, your safe" I said hugging her tight,
"I- I wanna go home"
I took her hand and I took her back to the orphanage,
We both looked at each other,
I nodded and walked away,
Floss then ran up to me and hugged me tightly,
She kissed my cheek as a tear ran down her cheek,
"Be careful, one the way home, p-please" she whispered in my ear,
"You be careful too"
She nodded and we both went out seperate ways, to see each other again tomorrow..

Hey guys,
Hope you enjoyed this chapter,
I had my mums birthday meal tonight, she is turning 50 on Monday lol,
Anyways,
Floss is now officially one of the main characters of the story,
Meaning she will stick by Maddy for most of her life,
There will be another character who will be introduced in maddy's teenage years,
The story will fast forward to when Maddy is about 10 or something like that pretty soon,
Not yet but soon,
Look out for the author notes I will write it the chapter before so your all like
What the fuck what year is it 😂
