It was sunset. The sky was pink and peach and the warm tones from the sun reflected from the leaves on the trees. When Chris and the band started off getting more noticed when writing the creatures album, They thought it was best rather than them all cramped in one apartment to move in to their own houses which they did, Chris was originally gonna be neighbours with Ricky however he got so stressed and depressed from the pressures of being a newly famous that he needed to get away. He left for the woods and stayed in a small cabin and took in the nature, He began to take quite a liking to the outdoors and began to appreciate it more which he didn't do before. So he moved here. He is at peace here. No one to bother him. Just the way he likes it. Chris didn't say a word to Ryan Ashley, She was clearly tired from getting up early this morning to look after Maddy. She Emily smiled weakly said hello, Chris paid her, she refused but he insisted.
-Chris's POV-
"She is on the sofa watching cartoons" smiled Ryan, "Thankyou" I headed inside still shaky from before, My heart filled with emotion. I saw Maddy sitting on the sofa. Her head turned when she heard me shut the door. "Chwis!" She said hopping off the couch and running to me, I smiled my face lighting up as I kneeled down to her. I hugged her tightly, My long arms wrapped around her kissing her cheek, Her face tucked into my shoulder, Us Both cheek to cheek, I held her in silence for about a full two minutes. I was waiting for this all day, And I am so grateful to come home to it. I closed my eyes and smiled letting at tear run down my cheek. "Chwis why are we hugging for so long?" I snapped out of it, still not letting go of the hug, "I..I just missed you, that's all" I said rubbing her back, "Are you cwying?" I gulped and nodded holding her tight, "Aww, it's okay Chwis I wasn't going anywhere" "I know baby I know" i sniffled, "If it makes you feel any better, you smell good" "Oh really?" "Yeah wike perfume, but men's one, not wike flowers" "You like it?" I smiled tears still rimming my eyes, "Yeah, I wike men's perfumes cause they are stronger" I chuckled and kissed her forehead, "I have some you can borrow if you want," She gasped, "Weally?!" "Come on," I smiled picking her up and taking her up stairs. I sat her on the bed and grabbed a perfume bottle from the dressing table. "This one is one of my favourites, it's the Bond 007 fragrance," "Will I get to smell wike James Bond?" I chuckled, "Yup!" I lifted her chin and sprayed some on each side of her neck, And on her wrists, She smelled the air. "Yay! Tank you Chwis!" "that's alright darling. Now come on let's run you a bath"

"Is it okay? It's not too hot is it?" "It's otay I was chilly today anyways" she said sitting down, I pulled her wet hair behind her ear and lathered the shampoo, I winced slightly with the soap and my scraped knuckles touching but it didn't bother me. I helped her out of the tub and dried her off, I wrapped a towel round end and dried her hair, My hands slowly brushing along her whip lash scars as I bit the inside of my lip. I shook my head and put on her pyjamas and took her to bed, I tucked her in and kissed her forehead and got in next to her, I turned off the light and Maddy sat up and gasped, I frowned and turned round to her, "C..Chwis?" She sat up looking around "Right here" I whispered, "H..hold my hand" I picked it up and held it, her hand squeezing it slightly, "I was scared today" she said "is that so? Why?" "I watched nightmare on elm street" "Oh?" She nodded, "He did bad things to those kids when dey were younger" I tensed slightly, " yeah he did" "What if I go to school and that happens?" "I won't let that happen" I said bringing her close, " John always said bad stuff like that would happen but I said that he was scaring me" I hugged her tight "He never did do that though d..did he darling?" "No, one time her twied but mommy came and saved me," I felt slightly relieved yet sick to my stomach. " you don't have to worry about that any more darling your safe with me okay?" She nodded and looked down. "I..I miss my mommy" she whispered tears forming in her eyes, I looked at her sadly and dried her eyes "I'm sorry Madelyn I- I can't do anything about that" "I know Chwis,miss okay, I have you" I smiled and kissed her cheek. "Get some sleep," "You going anywhere tomorrow?" "No" "Yay!" She said weakly, I smiled and lay back, "Night"
Hey guys, Hope you enjoyed this chapter, I went shopping and got new things, But I'm really tired so it's gonna be a short author note, I got a new miw shirt the one with the skeleton hand which I have always wanted And the New Year's Day shirt with the Snow White eating a heart. Also a new BMTH poster and a totoro plushie, The rest I will tell you later cause that's for my birthday so yeah XD, I'm gonna go sleep. My legs hurt so yeah, Night guys I love you! Seeya Gem Xxx
