To save her

-Chris's POV-

I sped off not caring to put my seatbelt on and hurried away,
God damnit I'm so fucking stupid.
I totally forgot she was there, I was too worked up about meeting Laura today that I forgot about Maddy,
This is all my fault.

I parked the car in the drive and ran to the door,
"There you are what the hell?!"maid Ricky standing by the door
"I know I'm sorry" I said grabbing the keys,
"Don't say sorry to me! Say sorry to her for you not being a fucking dad-"
I grunted and pushed him back making him fall off the door step,
I busted in and Ricky followed,
I was gasping for breath as I kneeled over Madelyn who was lying lifeless on the cold kitchen floor,
"Maddy? Oh my god- baby can you her me?" I said picking her up slightly
"What's wrong with her?" Said Ricky nervously from behind.
I shook my head, as i put my hand under her small neck to support her little head. Tears pricked my eyes,
I moved her along a bit then I noticed,
Little plastic sachets covered in soap.
I stopped breathing like something was caught in my throat.
A tear ran down my cheek.
"Maddy- darling-" I choked my bottom lip quivering slightly.
My shaken hands opened the kitchen cabinet to see a empty box of dishwasher capsules.
With the label on the back saying
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AT ALL COSTS
"Oh my god" said Ricky noticing walking backwards.
I checked to see if my little girl was breathing and she wasn't.
I checked her pulse on her little wrist and it was ever so faint.
"Fuuck!!!" I screamed punching the floor,
"Chris calm we need to take her to the hospital" said Ricky,
"Are you kidding?! That place is an hour away they will never come in time!"
"Then call the 24 hour ambulance service over the phone" said Ricky
"Y..yeah y..your right" I sniffled,
Ricky walked backwards dizzy laying back onto the wall trying to take in what is happening.
I grabbed the phone and shakily dialled the number,
"Hello you have reached the ambulance service line what is your emergency"
"Hello m..my daughter s..she took some dishwasher capsules and she is not breathing " I said still crying,
"How long has it been?" Asked the man over the phone.
"I'm not sure b.,but I would say more than two hours"
"Okay sir have you checked her pulse?"
"Yeah it's there but she is not breathing" I said sniffling holding her small hand,
"Right sir I want you to clear her airway okay? Do you know how to perform CPR?"
"Y..yeah more or less"
"Okay keep on the line and tell me once your done with that."
I nodded and put the phone down and shakily pressed my hands over her small sheet and began to pump her lungs and get her heart beating properly again,
"One two three" I gasped out of breath then putting my cheek over her mouth,
Nothing
I shook my head and proceeded,
"One two three, come on baby breathe" i said beginning to cry again,
I put my cheek over her mouth again,
Nothing,
I breathed in a sharp breath tears rushing down my cheeks,
"One two three, baby please don't do this to me"
Pumping her heart putting all my strength and energy, all that I had left in me into saving her,
Suddenly bloody foam and salvia came from the bottom of her throat,
She choked it up and gasped for breath,
I sighed,
"there you are good girl, good girl Maddy," I said out of breath, my arms still feeling sore and numb,
She whimpered and squeaked clenching her stomach,
"right sir is she breathing?"
"Yeah she is"
"Okay now we need the substances out of her system as soon as possible,"
"Okay?"
"Sir I need for your to make your daughter sick,"
I looked over at her,
"Open her mouth and make sure your hands are clean and make her purge sir"
"No, I can't do that's, that's cruel,
"Sir I need you to do it-"
"No"
"Sir! Her life is at stake here!"
"Fine anything else?" I said pissed off,
"No-
I hung up.
"I..is wicky okay?"
I looked over at Ricky who had fainted on the floor
"Yeah baby he is fine, now come quick I need you to be brave for me okay?"
She lay back in my arms weakly,
Coughing up a little blood as I carried her upstairs,
"Can you be brave for me darling? Huh? Be brave for Chris?"
She nodded "mmhmm,"
"Alright," I said sitting her down on the bathroom floor,
I opened the toilet lid and took off all my rings and cleaned my hands,
"C..Chwis what are you gonna do?" Said Maddy scared,
Tears ran down my cheeks again,
"Darling I need you to get it all out of your system, I'm gonna have to make you be sick okay?" I said softly cupping he hands round her cheeks,
She gulped and nodded,
I put her hair behind her ear and kissed her cheek and I bent her over the toilet,
"Are you sure you don't wanna do this yourself"
She shook her head
"Alright, if I hurt you say"
I opened her mouth and put a finger to the back of her throat,
She gagged and puked into the toilet,
"Oh god" I whispered to myself, my other hand rubbing her back,
"that's is darling almost There"
She puked more,
The began to lightly slap my knee telling me to stop.
I did and washed my hand,
I hit a wet cloth and wiped her little mouth,
I cupped her little face,
She began to cry,
"I is sowwy I was hungry-
"Shh shh no no Chris is sorry Maddy, I shouldn't have left you alone" I said hugging her tightly rocking her back and forth,
She snuggled into my shirt,
I kissed her cheek multiple times,
And sighed, " I'd thought I lost you Madelyn, I really did"
"C..Chwis?"
"Hmm?"
Her stomach rumbled
"Don't worry we are gonna get things sorted down stairs okay?"
"Is I gonna get punished for eating dat stuff?"
"No, Chris should be punished for leaving you all alone, next time your staying at the guy's house or getting you steps to climb"
She smiled and yawned,
"let's go wake Ricky"

Hey guys,
Hope you enjoyed this chapter,
Me and my mum were watching this horror movie called possession and we are both kinda freaked out by it as it was about rituals and stuff and I joked about after the credits saying,
Well I know what I am ordering off eBay this weekend and my mum went all serious and was like I do not want anything satanic in this household,
Then I creeped her out by sitting on the floor and pretending to meditate.
And she got scared lol,
