Breathless

-maddy's POV-s

"Right class, last period of the day, I want you all to run three laps of the feild, no cutting corners!" Yelled the annoyed gym teacher,
I gulped,
"B..but miss it's windy and rainy outside" I stuttered,
"Does it look like I care miss marsh?! Huh?!"
I gulped at the name she called me,
I hate that name, I don't wanna be called that name anymore.
I looked outside and clenched my hand round my inhaler,
"Hey you okay?" Said floss
"I'm fine just  overthinking, it's otay"
"Okay,"
"Right follow me into the feild"
The class walked out into the rain,
"I do not want any cutting corners, the laps will add up to  a two and a half mile run, I dint want any stopping and any cheating,"
"Psst floss, do you have a pocket in your hoodie?"
"Yes"
" can you hold onto my inhaler for me"
"Oh course"
"Thankyou"

"Three two one, off you go!" Yelled the teacher,
We all ran on the muddy grass,
The rain was pouring,
Damnit it was a bad idea to wear shorts and a vest top,
Why does teh school make us do outdoor sports in the winter and not the summer,
I ran even more, sliding across the mud,

About halfway through the second lap, the cold got too much for my lungs,
My breathing was making wheezing noises,
My chest felt tight and I became light headed,
The cold air burned my throat,
I saw floss running in front,
"F..floss"
I saw her turn to me,
I limped towards her, but I fell to the ground,

I lay on the ground,
All I could see was the grey sky,
I choked and coughed, my lips were now dry,
I let a tear slipped as I mourned for Chris,
I felt my heart beat work harder to keep me alive but it couldn't do anything with the lack of oxygen intake,
I then felt floss shake me and keel over me,
She yelled me muffled words,
I couldn't hear, like I was under water and floss was trying to reach me beyond the surface,

Floss shook Maddy just so she could let out a squeak or something that indicates that she was still with her,
She shakily got her inhaler from her pocket and lifted her best friends head up slightly as she puffed the medicine down her throat to help her get some air and actually breath.
But it never worked,
Madelyn needed more than her inhaler to help her,
"Miss miss! Maddy! She needs help!" Yelled floss, beggining to cry,
"M..Maddy come back, please breathe," she began to cry, putting her hand against  maddy's soft cheek,
"Sit her up, I'm calling her father" said the teacher getting the phone,

-Chris's POV-

I smiled as I tickled banshees tummy when the phone rang,
Probably the record manager,
I picked it up,
"Hello?"
What was said to me made my breath hitch,
I dropped the phone onto the ground and shakily got my car keys,
I left in a instance.

Back at the school, the teacher carried her to the main lobby area,
Which consisted of two sofas a TV with a slide show of the building and a trophy cabinet,
Floss was in a emotional state,
Her parents left her abandoned, the thought of loosing someone this close to her was unbearable.
She sat on her knees on the floor as Maddy sat back on the sofa,
Her throat crackling, her lips turning a reddish purple, her neck with red scratches from her nails,
Floss kept clapping her cheeks to keep her little soul calm cause if she wasn't, it would only make it worse,
The school needed the permission of the guardian to send her away in the ambulance,
Chris not long after barged in,
He dropped to his knees and massaged the sides of madelyns neck,
Maddy stayed silent,
"we gotta take her to the hospital now," said Chris, dead seriousness in his voice,
Floss gulped and hugged Chris's arm,
Chris looked down at her,
Floss stared up at Chris with watery eyes,
"She not gonna leave us is she" said floss shaking her head,
"She is strong and has her friend and me as a father, we gotta be strong also" said Chris wiping her tears,
Chris put his arm round floss as they both followed Madelyn into the ambulance..

I've been not too good today honestly, my mine in another mess,
It's okay though, I was supposed to make a you tube video this weekend but I couldn't find the right mind state to make one,
I'm sorry about that you guys,
I hope you are all not pissed at me, I don't blame you if your not,
Also for my sequel to drowning,
It's hard to write two stories at the same time especially when your updating once a night,
I'll try my best to update some time this week,
