Isolation

-Madelyn's POV-
- 2 weeks later-

I climbed into the tree and wrapped a rope round one of the branches,
I tied a large loop and jumped off,
I stuck my legs through the loop and sat on it like a seat and began to swing round the tree,
Floss and the other girls clapped and cheered apart from Lisa who stood with her arms crossed.
"Alright enough" growled Lisa pilling my foot making me slid through the loop, it tp catching onto my throat,
I chocked as my feet dangled in the air,
I began to cry, dis was how my mommy-
"Help!" I screeched,
Linda came running and cut the rope making it all fall on top of me,
"Madelyn what the hell were you thinking! Messing around like that!" She said grabbing my arm forcefully,
"Yeah, God just cause your mom did it doesn't mean you have to"
I beamed red with anger and jumped onto her biting her arm and scratching her and slapping her face,
Linda grabbed me and pushed me to the ground,
"Isolation now! No supper for you" she pointed
I flipped her off,
*SLAP*
I felt a sharp sting on my cheek,
"I- oh my god darling I'm so sorry let me see, I dint know what came over me I-
"It's okay, I'm used to it" I mumbled stopping her hands from touching my now red face
I sadly walked to isolation which was in the other half of the building,

the orphanage was a large old building with only half of it being used,
The other half is practically abandoned,
The orphanage has 4 floors but only two are used
And in the second part of the orphanage lay a room known as isolation where naughty kids went to take a time out.
The place had no windows and there were plants on the side of the walls and most of the floor boards were rotting, that was on the ground floor though, isolation was on the second.
Madelyn had never been to isolation before so she was a little scared to walk over there,

"Madelyns POV-
I headed towards the same old wooden stairs,
They were all rotten and unable to climb,
So I turned to the old elevator,
I smiled, I have never been in one of these before,
I walked into the old rusty box and pressed the number 2
It made a strange sound and the doors slammed shut,
I gulped and noticed the tape that stuck to the bottom of my shoe,
It was yellow and black and it had the words
DO NOT ENTER
"Oh you've done it this time Maddy" I said to myself,
As the elevator slowly got higher,
It got to the first floor then stopped
I heard something rattle then the machine collapsed
I squealed and as soon as the doors opened I noticed I was inbetween floors,
I climbed up and tried to fit through the small space to get onto the second floor,
Half of me got there eventually but the elevator doors closed catching my ankle,
The elevator began to go back to the ground. Floor pulling me with it,
Dragging me down
I screeched
"Help! Someone help!"
Suddenly I heard high heals run across the floor and I noticed Linda
"Oh my god" she said pulling my from my arms
I got freed and she pulled me onto her lap, my weak arms around her neck,
She garbed y shoulder pulling me away to look at her
"You were supposed to go the other way, you know you pass through the hallway see?! You had me so freaking worried" she said sternly
"I- I'm sorry I-" I began to cry
"It's alright, I'm  sorry shh shh I'm sorry baby" she whispered rocking me back and forth
"I miss my daddy" I cried
"I know you do Madelyn I know honey" she said rubbing my back
"Do you I still get supper?" I sniffled
She laughed
"Yes and extra jelly and ice cream for you but shhh don't tell the others," she smiled picking me up
I smiled and put my finger over my lips

Sorry it's kinda a bad chapter, haven't slept in 48 hours so il wrecked and also I am waiting for my black hair dye to set so yeah,
