The Letter

-Chris's POV-

I headed downstairs feeding the dog who lay still on the floor as usual,
It was nice to be back in the comfort of my own home,
Especially when it is shared with my daughter Madelyn.
I'm proud of calling her mine. She is an inspiration to me.
I noticed a letter at the bottom of the door,
It was addressed to Madelyn from the dance school.
I grinned, I knew exactly what it was.
"Maddy?! You awake?!" I yelled at the bottom of the stairs.
"Yeah!"
"Come down, there is something for you!"
She ran down the stairs,
"Careful careful I don't want you to-
"Pfft" she said passing me, picking up the letter,
She turned to me shocked.
"Read it out" I grinned sipping my tea.

"Dear Madelyn Cerulli, I am pleased to advise you that you have been chosen to play the part of the Black Swan in the Christmas Dance show called Swan Lake. You will be performing to the song Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. Hope to hear for you soon."
She turned round, hand over her mouth, tears pricked in her eyes,
"Oh my god dad I-
"You did it"
"I did" she squeaked, nodding,
"Congratulations darling you deserved it"
"I'm so happy dad!" She said hugging me tight,
I kissed her cheek.
"I can't wait to see the show"
"But what if I fuck up"
"You'll do me proud no matter what, and besides I know that you'll do amazing"

-maddy's POV-

I sat boredly on the sofa watching sponge bob, I'm not aloud outside for a week cause dad was pacifically told that I had to rest up and stay away from the cold.
"Daaaaad"
"No"
"Pleeeeeaase"
"Do you want my ass to get in trouble"
"But it's so boring"
"Is floss doing anything today?" He suggested whilst washing the dishes,
I looked over at him.

"Hey gurl!"
"Hi boo!" I giggled
We both hugged at the door,
"I have popcorn, ice cream, marshmallows and of course-
"You didnt"
"Oh yes I did"
"Cheese cubes!" We both yelled 
We gobbled  them down and lay back on the bed,
Floss rested her cheek in my boobs,
"Your Titts are comfy"
" why thankyou"
"There so squidgy" she said poking them,
"Uhh"
"Heard from Dylan then?"
"Not at all,"
"He hasn't been at school"
I sighed and sat up,
"Hey it will be fine, he is probably just sorting shit out"
"I'm starting to get second thoughts Anyways" I said sadly,
"What do you mean"
"When we were making out, yeah I felt really in love but- as soon as he touched my hips I just couldn't do it,"
"It was the memories, on what he did to us" I shook my head.
"Greg.." Whispered floss,
I nodded.
" the truth is Madelyn,is well-
She burst out into tears, "I can't get it out of my head" she cried pointing to her scalp.
I hugger her tight and kissed her cheek and called her down
"I know, I know"
We both flinched at the door creaking open,
Chris stood there,hurt at what he just heard.
"How much did you hear, dad" I sniffled,
"Enough"
He slowly came towards us both and sat in between us,
"Floss, Maddy, when I saw you both, held against your will with that hell  of a man, I knew this day would come"
"Both of you stared into my eyes, tears streaming down your little baby cheeks, begging for me or anyone go take care of you"
"Floss even though I'm not your dad I knew that in one way or another I would have to take care of you, and keep you- both of you safe"
" nothing you will ever say to me will make me fully understand what you two saw that night or any of the time you were there. But I can offer you my trust."
I brung them both into a tight grasp,
I kissed the top of floss's head and I kissed the top of Maddy's.
"I love you both very much, your dearest family to me and the band"
"What about Dylan"
"I don't know about Dylan. I'd have to get to know him more"
"I ordered pizza, and ghost is coming over to do your makeup, he loves girly sleepovers you don't mind him staying do you"
"Is that him with the-
"The little girl butt, yeah that's him"
"Sure, I love him!,
"Good good, oh and vinny is coming over so to wear the SnapBack he bought you and pretend to him how much you love it"
"Dad that's mean"
"He he I'll see you girls"

Hey guys
Sorry this is a filler,
Pretty stoked today surprisingly,
I have another hair appointment tomorrow, which may mean I am going to get my hair piece,
I haven't seen it so it depends if it looks good on me but if it does for the first time I might actually have a full head of hair,
Like wtf, this is what I have dreamed of for years!
Oh and by the way, I just ordered my dress for the Christmas dance this year,
It's hella goth so I'm pleased,
