Never Again: Chapter 77
Iris's POV
Zayn and I were in the woods collecting fire wood because I was making a bond fire for my self and he agreed to help. It was the first time Zayn actually did something for me, in a while.
Well that was until we smelled Rose and then he smiled crazily and dropped everything and ran back to the house. I, on the other hand continued to collect my fire wood. I had brought a wheelbarrow with me so Zayn and I didn't have to make as many trips.
After about an hour I returned to the house, it was dark out when I began to make my fire. I could hear the laughing from inside, but I still could feel everyone's pain.
When the fire was burning bright and wild, everyone went quiet inside. "IRIS COME HERE," Harry called. All I could do was grit my teeth, I was beyond angry at Rose, so was my wolf.
I trudged into the house, and met everyone's eyes. "Rose is back." Zayn said happily.
"Oh so your alive, thanks for finally letting us know." I growled. Everyone went quiet, Rose's wolf whined at my wolf but my wolf only growled in return.
"I had to...." Rose began but I cut her off.
"Your wolf is weak then," I snapped. I knew the reason already of why she left and I just couldn't deal with her right now.
"Iris...." She tried again but a vicious growl from me cut her off.
"NO I'm not just going to come and kiss your feet, I'm not some mindless slave! You weren't here rose! YOU DIDN'T SEE EVERYTHING FALL APART! Niall sucks at being an alpha without you! Louis just lost his mate and you weren't here! Harry and Zayn started loosing their minds! Everyone was tearing each other apart ROSE! And I couldn't help them because I'm not you! And do you want to know the worst part of all of this?! The worst part is that as soon as you returned they kiss up! They go back to their normal selves and so therefore you all are stupid assholes!" I screamed and then a strange scent caught my nose and I sniffed the air and locked my gaze with Rose.
She brought home a stranger, he smelled like a male, and i could tell she was connected to him.
Then I realized the connection was like Liam's and mine. I winced at the memory and just shook my head. I left the house and went to my bond fire, And I turned wolf. I closed my eyes to calm my nerves, then I fell asleep.
I woke up early enough so that I could sneak inside and get dressed before the stranger woke up. I doubt he would be as gullible as Jessie.
I dashed up the steps, and into my room, then I turned human and threw my hair up into a messy bun. Then I threw on my black bra, underwear, my short black shorts, and a black belly shirt. I was burning up so the less clothes the better. I made sure that the shirt was long enough to cover all my tattoos. So it cut off at my waist hiding the bird on my waist. Then I went down stairs and I saw Rose sitting at the kitchen counter.
I sighed and walked up behind her and hugged her.
"I missed you." I said as I took a seat next to her. She gave me a half smile and I returned it. "But I'm still mad at you, you left me alone with these emotional males. And trust me when I say that i look normal compared to these psychopaths." I said and she laughed lightly.
I jumped up and went around the counter and grabbed the peanut butter from the cabinet. I grabbed a spoon and sat back down by Rose.
Suddenly a pain shot in my chest and a gasped and fell off my chair. I pulled my shirt up to my neck and looked at my chest. Rose looked shocked, but not as shocked as me, where I had carved Liam's name in a week ago was black, the rest of the names were just red scars, I hadn't let my wolf heal them, but I was going to heal them soon so that no one would see them. But now it looks like Liam's name was permanent. My wolf was happy and I knew it must have been her who made it permeant, but I didn't know how she did it.
