Never Again: Chapter 84
Rose's POV
I'm so fucking stupid. I cursed myself as I thought about what had happened in Christians room.
Of course Niall freaked out when he saw, I was fucking underneath Christian for gods sake. Christian was shirtless, and in his boxers! I'm an idiot.
The more I thought about what happened the more I believed what Niall called me.
Maybe I was whore.
No, of course I was.
I began to cry again. My wolf was trying to argue with me, saying I was wasn't wrong and that Niall was. My wolf was saying that Niall was wrong. I didn't believe her, or what she was saying.
I'm with Niall, I shouldn't be going off to other boys. The only man I should be with is Niall. I began to cry again, this time harder. I was hurting Niall by being with Christian and Blake.
Blake hasn't even made eye contact with me. I saw him yesterday but he completely ignore me. Blake made me happy that one day in the woods, but Niall ruined it by being over protective. I saw the reasons for Niall to freak out, Blake liked me. Yet I saw Blake as nothing more than a friend, Niall didn't see that. Niall saw Blake as a threat.
As for Christian. Christian didn't see Niall as a threat. He didn't know that Niall was a werewolf and could tear him apart. He saw Niall as a impulsive over protective teenager. Christian saw Niall as an asshole that hurt me.
But it was nothing I didn't deserve.
I stopped crying when I heard foot steps coming from the bottom of the steps. I got up quickly, stumbling over my own feet and walked further down the strange part of the house. I had never ever been down this part of the house.
The footsteps grew closer and I panicked, opening one of the first doors I saw and hid inside. I footsteps passed, I let out a deep breath. I stood up from the crouching position I was in, looking for something I could see with in the dark room. My searching hands finally found a candle, luckily there was matches close by it.
I lit the match, then the candle. I blew out the match and set the candle back where I had found it. I gasped when I saw what was covering the walls of the mystery room.
Every inch of the wall was cover in bottles. Small bottles, big bottles, circular bottles, black bottles, blue bottles. Every shape was not as a normal bottle. They were odd and circular, some were oval or square. But they were all filled in different colorful liquid.
I looked back at the desk the candle was on. It was worn and dark wood, but in the center was a single worn book that a tattered front cover. I touched the front of it carefully, afraid if it would react like Iris's book of dark magic and burn me. But it didn't, it was soft and warm. I smiled and took a seat in the chair at the desk. I carefully opened the cover to see writing on the first page.
'A Healers Book'
I whispered the title over in my head a few times, why was it so familiar?
I took the page, flipping it over carefully so the delicate page wouldn't tear or rip further. The first page was covered in wording, then a small picture of a round bottle labeled one in the right corner. I looked at the shelves, the closer you looked you could see the numbers going from ? 1-1,000.
Why was this room here?
I got up, looking for bottle number 1. It was the very first one on the shelves, which made sense since it was on the first page. I grabbed the bottle then sat back down on the chair.
