Never Again: Chapter 87
Iris's POV
I woke up, and maybe that was the worse part, because the pain hit me like a bus. But my throat was too dry to scream. It felt like someone took nails and made me swallow them, but the worst pain was my heart. I couldn't though, I couldn't get up, I was too weak to open my bond with Rose either. It was probably better that way so she wasn't in so much pain.
Finally I willed my eyes to open and I saw red, my eyes adjusted to the light and I saw blood everywhere. I looked down at my chest and Liam's name was bleeding still. I was loosing way to much blood, it's amazing I made it through the night.
That's why I was so weak, my wolf was healing and replacing the blood all night but now she was tried and she couldn't keep healing us much longer. For some reason she wasn't healing Liam's name, each letter in his name was pouring out blood, and my skin looked extremely pale.
I clinched my eyes shut and and screamed loudly. I needed help or I was going to die, my wolf took the rest of her energy and she howled while I screamed. The sound was so loud it hurt my ears and I knew it reached the house. But then I stopped screaming and my wolf collapsed, and then I sobbed and screamed some more because I didn't have anyone to share the pain with.
Suddenly strong arms picked my fragile body up. I opened my eyes to see Zayn, he was screaming at someone but I couldn't hear them. I felt cold hands on my chest and I looked to see Rose putting bandages on Liam's name.
Then a pain like nothing before rocketed through my body and I screamed as loud as I could and arched my back out of Zayn's arms. I started clawing at my chest, my heart felt like it was slowly ripping apart, and every piece of tissue that held it together was catching on fire. Then my eyes rolled into the back of my head and the pain left and darkness consumed me.

I woke up and again the pain came back, it felt like fire was cursing through my veins. I just wanted to die, truly I wanted to sleep forever. I couldn't instead I woke up and the pain was there to welcome me. Maybe bundling all the pain inside was a bad idea because now it was coming back even stronger. I willed my eyes to open and all I was met by was the kitchen light.
Suddenly a tired face hovered above me, and it was Rose. She looked so sad to see me like this but there was nothing she could do. I knew that If I opened the bonds with her she would collapse in pain, but I had no choice.
"Rose I need to share the pain," I croaked out. And Rose looked over at someone.
"Okay, Christian is upstairs blaring music so he won't hear us if we are loud." Rose said. I nodded as I tried to stop my self from screaming, the longer I was awake the more my heart started to hurt.
My wolf suddenly howled wildly, and I winced as my wolf clawed from inside. She was in even more pain than I was and we didn't know why, it was like all the hate and anger that someone felt towards us was turning into physical and mental pain.
Suddenly I screamed and thrashed around wildly, my wolf howled in pain. I suddenly was self conscious that everyone hated me. We could sense Liam's presence and darkness and that made me start to cry. Then I opened the bond with Rose. She fell to the ground grabbing her chest and I was relieved from some of the pain. Rose was bawling her eyes out and screaming and scratching her chest above her heart. I knew she wasn't used to this but I had to share, I looked over to Harry and he was leaning against a wall breathing deeply. He could feel it just not as bad. I wailed loudly as the pain increased and I ripped off the bandage that Rose had put on my chest and sure enough Liam's name was bleeding again, but this time worse. I started coughing up blood, my wolf was hurting us because she hated what she was, she was trying to kill her self so the pain would leave.
I screamed as I spit out blood. My wolf closed the bond and Rose was breathing heavily but trying to help me. She lifted me up, as I coughed more blood up. My nose and mouth leaked blood. My wolf was using her power against ourself.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING," Zayn yelled to someone but that was the last sound I heard until everything went black.
I didn't pass out, the pain was still there, but I could no longer hear, see, or smell anything anymore. I was locked inside feeling the unbearable pain. My wolf finally passed out from the pain and I wasn't soon after.
I just hoped I could sleep forever. Or someone could help me take away the pain.
