Erylle's face became red. Same as mine. At this point it's safe not to talk. Yeah, it's true that we had our date after the pageant, but nothing has changed between us...or not? I don't know if I got rejected or not, really.

Good thing, Erylle cleared her voice and tried to change the awkward atmosphere.

"Er... Ehum!...I would like to tell you three that we are invited by the Black Cross Legion. There will be a summit in Myrrh City and there are twelve legions that will participate. We will be departing tomorrow, since the summer vacation is here and school days are over."

"Yay! We're going to a trip!" Mia shouted, raising both of her arms in the air.

"It's a summit. We're going to a summit... but we will also have time for that~"

Myrrh City is also known for its beautiful beaches. It was a tourist attraction and every year, the resorts on that place are fully booked in summer. But if we come this early, we might have a room for us four.

I wonder what the summit is all about.

The next day...

We rode on a bus carrying heavy baggage. Well it's just Heushac and I are in charge of lifting up the things. We're just trying to be gentlemen, ladies. If Erylle wasn't my crush, I would never do it for her.

Mia is pretty kind, she doesn't shout at me unlike how she treats Heushac, but then, Heushac is the one carrying Mia's things. I don't know. Maybe their charms got us.

I would like to sit beside Erylle on the bus but Mia sat first. Not a lucky day for me. I will have to sit beside Heushac, just behind the girls' seat. It's okay for me. I go along with Heushac, since he's not too quiet or noisy. Just right. Another good news, I can still have a good view on Erylle's silky smooth hair. Bad news, all the chips and other snacks are in front. It's like the girls are the only ones who have the right to eat those.

When the bus started moving, Heushac suddenly asked me.

"Yohan, do you already have a relationship experience?"

"Well, I don't." I forced a smile.

"How will you confess to a girl?"

"I'm not really sure. Wait for the right moment?"

"How?"

I scratched my head. This is getting hard.

"...I don't know."

"You have a thing for Erylle, right?" He immediately asked, out of the blue.

My face blushed again. Meanwhile, Erylle somewhat choked to whatever she's eating and coughed several times. Eavesdropping, are you? Maybe not, the bus engine is way too loud. There's no way she can hear that.

"I-I'm not!"

It's good that I made an immediate reply. It will be bad if Erylle knew, though I know she had an idea.

"I'll tell you a secret." Heushac whispered. "Be careful not to be too close to her. She has a Guardian ability that hears the thoughts and feelings of others. It's called <Heartsong> Ability, and it's her Guardian Ability."
