This is Murknock Plains on Earth, but it really looks nothing like that. There's much grass on that plains but we're in a wasteland. The Transfield right now has a bloody moon. This is the perfect place to wage a war against the King Eidolon.

Only six Legions will participate on this battle because of some damages of the past fights. But we're glad that Eaglehorn is together with us in this fight. Together, we will destroy the last Cursed Guardian. There are roughly a hundred of us here. The Black Cross Legion only sent half of their Holy Knights, including Serg the Heavenly Blade of Illusions Wielder. He is the one in charge on this assault in the name of Sister Amanda Cryst.

One of the flashiest Legion, the Windshifters Legion has the most energy right now. They have a Japanese robe as the uniform of their Legion. It grabbed Heushac's attention and then commented.

"Wow, they really look like Jacuzzi!"

"I-It is yakuza, not Jakuzzi." I said, being worried about Heushac's wellbeing. How the heck can he interchange those words?

"Hey, it's starting." Mia said.

All the Guardians materialized their weapons, and all Heavenly Blade wielders unsheathed their blades. All of us are ready to attack now.

Neo swiped his finger on the floor, and a black dimensional rift opened. It looks like an eye with a red pupil, and it covers ten meters in diameter. All of us backed down, avoiding touching the dimensional gate. Black balls of light started coming upwards from the rift. It became thicker and thicker every second.

"<Void Art: Summon Aeternos>!!!"

As soon as Void Wolf shouted, the mass of black balls compressed together and formed a horror. A seventy-meter tall skeleton with several horns on its head and a skull face. His eyes were dark red, but the triangle on its eyes makes it clear that it was certainly a Cursed Guardian.

Wha-What is that sound! It's like a metallic screeching from a UFO with inaudible echoing voices! My eardrums felt like melting! That is the first time I've heard it! I covered my ears like what the other Guardians do.

"Supports, fire!"

Hundreds of chants; thorn whips, earth burial, steel strings and other binding spells echoed in the atmosphere of Transfield. All of them focused on the Aeternos's feet, to prevent it from stomping us. I'm a support too, so I did help with my new Void Spell.

"<Ithaqua Frostbite>!!!"

Just like <Horus Incinerate>, <Ithaqua Frostbite> gave out smoke on my mouth, but it's completely white. It coated Aeternos's left feet with giant ice crystals upon contact. This spell is quite powerful! With these bindings on his feet, his teleportation ability will be prevented!

"Hrrraaaaaaaah!" Benedict charged forward, jumped and punched Aeternos's left toe. It didn't have any effect, but he's up to something else! His <Facsimile> ability will copy all its abilities!

Now, it was the artillery Guardian's turn. All attack kinds of attack spells have been cast towards the face of the Aeternos. But all of it never had an effect at all. Our attacks are too weak. On response, the Aeternos's eye glowed bright red.

"Get ready! Defenders, ready your shield! Cast all barrier spells!" Serg shouted.

Aeternos created a laser from his eyes that surged towards us all. He turned around; breaking all barrier and shields it touched. That laser is really an ultimate destruction weapon. Good thing I have this spell on my sleeve!

"<Prism Counter>!!!"

The red laser reflected back to his chest which made a huge explosion. Aeternos flinched! It seems like Erylle's spell is not a waste! I smiled at her after that, wordlessly thanking her. She smiled back like a princess. It was just a short moment of paradise for me. We should focus on the battle.

Benedict jumped and then he seemed levitating. His eyes are now red. He's using the very same laser attack!

"Eat this!"

The laser is far smaller, but as soon as it hits the skull of the Eidolon, a loud explosion emerged. The Aeternos is now falling to the ground. But we're not yet finished! All the Guardians are now going for an all-out attack! All of them casted all their most powerful spells to the falling Eidolon with all their might.

The constraints on the Eidolon's feet are now completely destroyed, even my gigantic ice shards. Aeternos managed to step back, making his left foot as a support to prevent him from falling. But our attacks never halted. We gave all our might.But one spell will bring him down completely.

"Let's do this, Heushac!" Mia shouted.

"Yeah!"

Heushac raised his sword, gathering all light particles in the atmosphere. His sword became noticeably bigger as soon as Mia started gathering Anima Energy around the vast field. Mia then transfers the energy to Heushac, who is extremely focused on preparing his spell. Is that a co-op sealing spell from my book?!

Swoosh! A blue sword of light, with a length of one kilometer has been made, due to their combined efforts! This is the symphony of their hearts together!

"<Blazing Heart Sync: Sword of Genesis>!!!"

Spiral waves of Quintessence dances through the colossal sword like a hurricane. As soon as Heushac opened his eyes, he immediately made a strike to the King Eidolon. The Aeternos's body was immediately banished by the raging light of the two pure blazing hearts combined.

The aftermath gave out a dancing wave lights on the sky, much more looking like an aurora borealis.

But we all thought that it was all over...

Bone shards scattered in the atmosphere like rain. All Guardians stopped attacking to see their efforts. We definitely made Aeternos's body shattered, but...There is a flying humanoid figure where the Aeternos's chest was a few seconds ago.

But he is not a human. Nobody would mistake a blood-colored, two-horned, bat-winged creature as a human!

All of our eyes widened in shock. So this is the Cursed Guardian...No. This guy is completely a demon.

"Erylle." Felix started catching our attention after he went to us. "Maybe this is the time to use our <Guardian Mode>."
