Chapter 63 | Alive

Reader POV

I'm 1000% tired.

Today was tiring, we went flying, made plans to go back to Berk soon and trained for the rest of the day.

Every mussel in my body ached. My eyes felt like they would pop out of my head.

And my brain is tired from wondering if I should bring comic con to Berk.

I'm currently half-passed out on the sofa next to Hiccup. The dragons are curled up next to each other and I'm completely and utterly tired.

I rolled over and wrapped my arms around Hiccup. He put his arms around me and I snuggled up to him.

Soon falling into a deep sleep.

"(Y/n)?"

I opened my eyes and looked around. There's nothing around. Just... Nothingness??

"(Y/n) is that you?"

"Who's there?" I said, beginning to worry.

"(Y/N)!"

I turned to see a woman with a tattered white dress and sneakers.

My jaw dropped.

"M-mum?"

"(Y/n)!"

"MUM!"

I ran toward her and jumped into my mothers arms. She was pale and wearing the exact same clothes she was buried in.

"I thought I'd never see you again!" I cried.

"Neither did I but... After 16 years I just wake up here, and see you! You've grown so much!" Mum said.

"Mum I-"

"You have wings?!"

"Oh yeah, I'm living in Berk, thats the world from the dragon movies that were going to come out before you... You know" I said.

"Why are you there?"

"Well-"

"(Y/n) listen, I don't have much time, I will find you. You can explain it all then. I won't stop looking. All you have to do is wake up..."

*GASP!*

I sat up and instantly woke up.

"(Y/n) you ok?" Hiccup asked.

"Shes alive"

"What?"

"My mum shes alive" I said.

Hiccup sat up.

"But how is that-" he began.

"I- I don't know..."

"Are you sure it wasn't a dream?" Hiccup asked.

"In dreams you can't read, I could clearly read Adidas on her shoes, its a vision" I said.

"Is she like a ghost?"

"I don't know, maybe"

"(Y/n)" he said grabbing my hands and looking me in they eyes.

"We will find her, no matter what, and I'll stay with you every step of the way"

I hugged Hiccup tightly and kissed him on the cheek.

"You're the best, kindest, cutest, most caring person ever" I said.

"Please, you're the angel around here" he said, hugged back.

"Stop it" I said.

"No way, showering you with complements is my specialty, you deserve it"

"Hiccup-"

"Nope"

He kissed my nose, and I giggled at his kindness. And he ticked my sides.

"Hehehaha! Hiccup!"

He pushed me over and tickled my sides and neck.

"HAHAHAH HICCUP!!" I laughed.

He stopped and flopped on top of me.

"AHH HICCUP!" I laughed.

He laughed and looked up at me, I rested my head against the arm of the sofa and looked down at him.

"You're acting like a cat" I said.

"What a cat-astrophe" he said.

"Oh Thor" I laughed.

"It would be paw-some to meet your mother"

"Hiccup"

"What purr-incess?"

"Acting like a certain kitty I've seen I see?" I said.

He laughed at his own horrible puns and I laughed at his laugh.

"I love you" Hiccup said kissing my nose.

"I love you *yawn* too"

"Get some sleep milady, we'll go looking in the morning" he said.

"Ok, goodnight Hiccup" I said pulling him closer.

"Goodnight milady"
