Tails Boom! X reader: Accidents Happen

A little extra effort can go a long way.

The beach is very often seen as a peaceful place, which to most it is. Apart from if you live on Bygone Island and Eggman challenges the Sonic gang here every other day, then the beach isn't very peaceful at all. Which is why (Y/N) walked on the far side of the beach to avoid any violence.

Stepping happily through the sand she took the simple pleasure of the cool breeze and sunny day. Her day then got better when she spotted something near the shore.

"A starfish!"

Excitedly running up to it, trying her best not to trip in the sand, she reached the starfish and kneeling down and with her finger drew a square around it in the sand.

"There you go! Now you'll be safe and I'll have good luck." She smiled.

But just then she heard an odd whirring sound, it droned on and was continuous and annoying. 

"What on Mobius is that sound?" She asked scratching her head.

Looking from side to side she couldn't pin point it. And then she looked up.

"What on...?"

There was an odd looking droid, like a weird little hover craft. It almost looked like a toy with its four little propellers. But (Y/N) grew suspicious when it had a camera on it, and Eggman's logo. 

That good for nothing fatso! Whats he scheming this time!? 

Angry at the thought of Eggman causing trouble yet again she looked around and didn't hesitate to picky up a sandy log near the shore. She then aimed for the droid and it tried dodged her flying higher but she landed a solid hit and it collided with the sand. 

She then repeatedly started bashing it parts of metal flying here even achieving a few sparks from the shattered circuit boards.   

"Take that Eggman!" she exclaimed victoriously once she thought her work was done. 

She stood there panting ever so slightly panting still holding the log. (Y/N) was rather pleased with herself, glad she had stopped Eggman in whatever he might have been planning. However....

"Hey! Stop!" 

Looking to the edge of the beach (Y/N) saw a two tailed fox running onto the beach clutching a tablet, she recognized him as one of the Sonic gang who fought Eggman. 

"Can I help you with anything?" (Y/N) asked politely when he reached her. 

But he just ignored her looking down at the pile of what was the drone with a somber expression. Falling to his knees he started to lightly touch the various broken pieces, almost in disbelief. 

"It's completely trashed..." he said sadly. 

(Y/N) was very confused by this point. Surely if this drone was a invention of Eggman's then it was better off as scrap metal.   

"Yeah... I saw Eggman's logo on it so I smashed it." she explained carefully. 

"You're the one who smashed it!?" he demanded standing up with an angered expression. 

This caused (Y/N) to take a couple of steps back in surprise. 

"Y-yes, I thought it was Eggman's..." she stuttered. 

The fox just gave a large sigh running a hand through his front strands returning to the pile of scraps.

"It wasn't Eggman's I made it using scraps I salvaged from one of his robots we defeated." he explained.
