You are a (A/T)

How can anyone not adore you?

The castle of Camelot was in a frenzy and bustle of preparations for a celebratory event. The servants busy in every room, preparing guests quarters, decorating the feast halls, polishing the silverware and cooking up numerous items of food. And the king himself, sat in his throne room, his fingers drumming against the arm of his throne, a days worth of greeting guests being surprisingly exhausting.

"How many more gusts are expecting this evening?" Arthur asked his attendant, Jarvis, an old grey fox.

"All guests are accounted for apart from one family. But they sent word that they would be delayed in their arrival."

Instantly Arthur's mind wandered to the possibility of being able to be accused from greeting the last of the guests, wanting at least some time to himself this day, even though evening had already fallen. An idea which was unfortunately prevented when a servant entered the throne room, announcing.

"Sire, the last of the guests have arrived."

"Who?"

"The (L/N) family of Telos, King (F/N), Queen (M/N) and princess (Y/N)."

Now if it had been any other guest Arthur would have excused himself, giving the time as an excuse for his rudeness, but not when it was the family of Telos. Standing up from the throne, Jarvis assuring him he was presentable, the Telos family entered. A middle aged male and female (A/T) entered along with a young female (A/T) who resembled both of them.

"King (F/N), you and your family are most welcome." Arthur greeted them in the appropriate way, with a firm handshake to (F/N) and a subtle kiss to the hand for both maidens.

"We are pleased to see you in such good health and to see the kingdom prospering under your fine rule." (F/N) said contently.

"Well it is not all my efforts, I have many fine knights and counselors at my aid along with fine allies such as yourselves."

After some more light conversation the family were then led out of the throne room and shown to their temporary guest quarters, being advised to rest before the celebrations which would take place the following evening. (Y/N) and Arthur sharing brief eye contact before she disappeared behind the wooden doors.

The said celebration at hand was the annual anniversary of Arthur's coronation. Five year's ago Camelot had been horrified and grief stricken at the loss of their previous king, leaving the young prince to take command. At the young age of 20 Arthur proceeded to claim his birth right of his place on the throne, and within the years had formulated Camelot into an even stronger kingdom. One which was just and fair to all, and all the people welcomed Arthur as their new king.

However despite Arthur ruling the kingdom in his own fashion, he still needed to abide to centuries long traditions. One being that in celebration of his coronation every year a feast and large gathering including family members from all of the surrounding kingdoms which Camelot held an alliance with, was to be held. And the Telos family were one such ally.

~The next day~

A door to one of the many guest chambers opened, (Y/N) nimbly looking both left and right up and down the corridor, pleased to see no one obstructing her path, delicately tip toed throughout the castle making her way to the council chambers where she believed the king would most likely be. But upon inquiring with one of the guards stood outside.
